They removed the old concrete posts and erected 2 lines of 8 panels in only 5.5 hours. It looks good but I have a couple of niggles. Although the guys on one side of the garden got the posts more or less vertical, the guys on the other side may have been using a faulty spirit level because the post all lean slightly down to a gateway. I intend to erect the gate myself and due to the tilt I find an unnecessary 30mm difference in the gaps at the top and bottom of the gateway. It doesn’t sound much but it’s causing me bother in framing the gate because as. DIYer I can’t easily cut a taper on the wood, and it may look a bit a bit odd - TBA. Also some of my reused concrete gravel boards were cracked and some had parts hacked off, which was unexpected. I had previously loosened all the old boards and none were cracked at the time. Still, it’s looking good otherwise.
