I needed some holes patching up in walls and ceiling when I had my new kitchen fitted. I'll be honest I wish I had done it myself as the job was terrible, even the kitchen fitter commented on the poor workmanship. I appreciate when filling holes it will never be the same as when a full skim is done but honestly I've done better with filler and a sander and I work in an office! Sorry for the late feedback but think people should be aware. I didn't realise how bad the job was until I painted the walls and ceiling.Answer from tradesperson:
I am quite surprised it's took nearly 3,years for you to give me negative feedback . Since I did the job on 30 th October 2014 if you were not satisfied with the quality of my work . You could have contacted me and I would have happily came straight out to rectify it. You say on your feedback post you have recently came back on mybuilder but on your previous other jobs i.e. ..platinum decorators That painted the walls I patched you gave them positive feedback on 18th November 2014 and no mention of poor plastering quality I'm certain this would have been mentioned

Lee plastered walls and ceiling and applied plaster coving to bedroom. Excellent. When he had finished he left the toon cleaner than it had been before he started! Very reasonable too. Review left on 18 Jan 2017Rating: 5 out of 5Full new self-build, 6 Bedroom House.I initially hired Lee to board, fire board and plaster the attic ceilings and stair shaft in my new self-build property. After contacting him through Mybuilder he turned up to quote for the job as arranged and give us an immediate cost for the job which was considerably cheaper than any of his competitors. On the initial job his workmanship and professionalism was of the highest standard, subsequently he has spent the last 4 months completing the rest of the property. He arrives on time and immediately gets to work. We arranged to purchase all the materials and Lee constantly kept us right with exactly what we would need to buy. He provides all the covers to ensure as little mess as possible and cleans up and the end of each day ready for the next one. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lee and have since asked him to return to plaster the underneath of our new staircase. Nothing is too much trouble and at times he has helped us out with tasks that were not in his original quotes without any hesitation. If you are looking for a hardworking, professional plasterer who works to the highest standard and takes pride in his work; look no further than Lee - you won't regret it!!
