Nick did an excellent job rebuilding the wall above our garage door. The workmanship was very neat and he tidied up when the work was finished. He is very pleasant and I could certainly recommend him, reasonably priced too.

I employed the Kentish Build to remove a HUGE chimney breast in my kitchen. This job involved a spliced steel, including a steel plate, and 2 steel brackets to support the cheeks of the remaining chimney and 4 pad stones. This was a BIG job to me. Nick came in several times before I employed him to do the job. He answered LOADS of question and we knowledgeable and reassuring. Nick advised I needed to get a structural engineer in to create the drawings for the steel. I done that then he came back and gave me a quote. Nicks quote was a great price, and in the from my research. It’s a big job having a huge chimney breast removed. Nick told me to stop worrying about the work and trust him. He came in with his team. Wonfderful men. Polite, informative, just really great people who worked and worked until the job is done. Nick sorted out everything, the steel, padstones and bracket things were in, in a day and a half! So tidy. I thought it was going to be a right old mess! Thanet Building control inspected of the steel in situ - the inspector said, just from looking at that work you can see that the person who installed this knows what they are doing. Following a thorough inspection by building control, the steel and padstones we were given the all clear to proceed. I would recommend the Kentish Builder over and over again. I trust him. Was really happy with a previous job to rebuild a parapet wall so engaged again to replace the ridges on the roof. Very reliable and good communication throughout. The job was really well done and left tidy afterwards. Will use again and recommend.

Nik did a great job repointing the back of my Victorian house. He was prompt, courteous, tidy and had good communication throughout. The house looks so much better and will look better still once I've painted it. Can't thank Nik enough for the excellent job he's done and for the couple of extra ones he did while here as a favour 😁 Great guy who does brilliant work at amazingly affordable prices. Nick responded quickly and gave a competitive quote for our new front steps. He and Liam did a great job which we are very pleased with. They left the site clean and tidy. Many thanks for a good job, we will use them again.

I needed some advice and a quote regarding installing gallows brackets for unsupported chimney stacks in a property that I am in the process of purchasing. Nick made contact and we discussed over the phone, agreeing he would check this the next day, even collecting and dropping off the keys from the estate agents which is in a different town to the property was no problem for him. He responded to queries promptly and was polite and helpful. I met him at the property and he was on time, actually early. He had checked the chimney and gave a thorough explaination, even pointed out some other issues of concern in the property and advised accordingly and was happy to advise on some other areas/jobs that I asked him about too. The same evening he sent me a detailed email with his recommendations and quotes for the unsupported chimneys and also the other issues that we discussed. I would certainly recommend him and will be making contact again once my property purchase is complete.

Nick has been fantastic at getting the flooring issue resolved, he was very patient and didn't mind me ringing him several times to answer all my questions. He took pictures along the way, sent them to me and kept me fully informed at every stage of the job. Thank you Nick for doing a great job of the small room, it looks great now, no more uneven floor! Nick and his Team were professional and polite at all times. He kept me updated throughout the whole of the works, with photos, details and explanations, nothing was too much bother for him or his Team. The finished work was excellent I am extremely pleased with my balcony. Nick and his Team were always punctual, a first class standard of work and they always cleaned up after themselves.
