Really pleased with the job Nick did on my garden. He turned up early every day and was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was happy with how everything was going and explaining what he'd be doing next. Even my neighbours observed 'what a grafter' he was' while I was away during the day. He's also very trustworthy, being entrusted with a set of my keys for the duration of the project. Some minor gripes: - Nick and team were generally good at keeping everything clean and tidy but there were a couple of mishaps - some mortar splashed all over a young fir tree and some grubby marks on my carpet left by walking on it with dirty wet socks. The clean-up jobs were only partially successful. - I found Nick a little difficult to communicate with 'artistically'. I'd explained at length that I was looking for a rustic look with my patio rather than precision lines, so planned to use reclaimed bricks. When these arrived he claimed that at least a third (out of 2,200) were unusable, which caused me some difficulty with the brick merchant. In the event, however, we were able to use all of them (except the small surplus left over) as they were exactly what I required - and the resulting patio looks perfectly robust. That said, these things are only minor and on balance, I would definitely hire Nick and team again.

Nick has just finished my decking and it looks great, very happy with the result. I was happy to leave nick to get on with the work while I left the house, and had no issues with leaving the back door open so he had access to use the loo and make drinks when needed. Will definitely use nick again for further building needs.

Nick is a great guy, they turned up when they said, advised me on what was the best way to do the job, listened to what I wanted and did a brilliant job. He is a really friendly bloke and I had no worries about leaving him there while I went to work. the job was completed within a week and looks really really good, better than I had invisaged. I would use him again!!

Nick and his team did a great job building our new front wall and BBQ. It was done at a good pace and finished well. Nick is also a trustworthy individual who we were happy to leave working in our house whilst at work (also was happy to undertake the task of looking out for our cat!). Would recommend him for any similar job.

Had a good job done and on time. Work was neat and tidy and Ken was a good down-to-earth person who knows his trade. Would use again and recommend to others.

Very happy with Nick's work - grinding out damaged pointing, washing out and repointing to seal. He installed 3 additional airbricks and took out a number of damaged bricks, replacing them with new ones. On top of that he helped us out by fixing 2 window seals and repairing part of the front wall that had come loose - without charging extra for it. Great help, carried out the work swiftly and took the time to talk us through what needed doing and why - recommended!

Nick was able to arrive very early in order to complete the job the next morning, he is a friendly chap and completed the work to the price we agreed. I certainly won't hesitate in using Nick again.

Nick was very friendly and helpful but most importantly was thorough in making sure the job was done right, rather than just quickly and cheaply. We were very happy with the outcome.

Nick and his team have done a great job replacing our garden wall. He explained everything we needed to know about the works being carried out and we are very happy with the results. It was the first time we have used Nick and would definitely use him again. Thanks also Nick for being so clean and tidy!!!
