I had them install a laminate floor into our bathroom as the tiles were beginning to look old and was advised by Journeys End that a laminate floor would be much more appropriate then a solid wood floor due to the dampness and moisture in bathrooms. Once they began work on the bathroom i began to discuss the rest of the flats floors with Patrick and we started to discuss the state of some of our other wooden floors. He told me that it would be very cheap and quick to sand them to restore them. I was apprehensive of this due to past experiences of having machinery in our small flat and narrow hallway. The previous workman had left various dings and dents on the hallways skirting and we were worried about it happening again. Patrick assured us that using the various specialist sanding machines he owned they could avoid any damage. We agreed to let them sand the hallways and Patrick was right, There were no problems this time around. The key strengths i found Patrick to have whilst dealing with him were his honesty in the initial pricing discussions and his knowledge of flooring and carpentry. We were greatly encouraged when we learned he had been doing this for a decade. Should it arise, we will defiantly be using his company again on any future jobs we may want in our home.

I moved into a new apartment and wanted a new wooden floor for the entire place. We were recommended to use Journeys End Flooring by friends who had used them in the past and were pleased with the work done. I didn't really have an idea of what types of floors and wood which could be installed but we settled on maple floors for the entire apartment. When initially dealing with Patrick i was very encouraged that he had being laying floors for 10 years and could show me a portfolio of some of the work he had personally installed. The finished work was perfect and matched what i requested it to be and how they promised it would be. Couldn't recommend them enough to others!

We had Journeys End Flooring install new Oak floors into the bedrooms of our hose, which is three rooms in total. We were encouraged to use this firm by friends who had used them and had nothing but positive things to say about them. They provided a free quotation and they stuck to the agreed upon price. The work was flawless and completed within the time frame which we had agreed upon. The price was superb as they managed to beat most of the quotes that we were given by local firms who we also contacted. I have recommended them to friends and family because of the work they did for us and they also have had nothing but good experiences with the company.

I had an Oak engineered wood floor installed throughout my dining room and hallway and had my old kitchen floor resanded. I was very pleased with the work i had done, the quality was extremely good. The work was also finished on time and came in on budget, very good value for money especially for all the work involved. Patrick was very informative throughout the whole process. He was also punctual, hardworking and polite to me at all times.
