I can easily recommend using his services. In addition he is a pleasant sociable person who wants to do a good job. There was a problem with one of the mirrors and it had to be replaced so he was happy to call back in to ensure it was securely and safely installed in addition to obtaining a lower profile fused box to enable to mirror sit closer to the wall. I also asked him to give us a quote on putting up 2 outside lights before we proceeded but unfortunately he has not got back to us.Answer from tradesperson:
Afternoon Poppy, I can confirm full agreement with regards to attending the property and identifying the problem, free off charge. This was done as a good-will gesture and to be quite frank, with the bolt on off securing future works. Such was my strategy, I find it surprising regarding the proposed “lack of contact”. I issued a firm cost via text message, to the referenced contact number. I must admit, after meeting you, this is more than likely an issue with phones, rather than anything else. Will endeavour to contact you this week, regarding the proposed external luminaries. Yours sincerely, J

Once that was confirmed he checked the electric circuit board and that the items affected were now in working order. Would have no hesitation in hiring him for future electric work.
