I was delighted to hear from Chris in relation to fixing our problem with the loose toilet seat fixings. When I spoke with him on the phone, he was able to convince me that remedying the problem was in fact a very simple job that we ought to be able to do ourselves. He even sent us a link to some replacement fittings available through Ebay should we need them.
Although I was skeptical, we were able to fix the problem by following Chris's good advice. We did not even need to obtain new fittings.
We are hugely appreciative that Chris offered his advice completely gratis when he could have sorted out the work himself and charged us the standard £55 call out charge. A less considerate tradesman might have done exactly that.
Additionally, Chris was articulate, very friendly, and courteous, giving us confidence that for any of our possible future plumbing jobs, he will now be the first person we call. We'd be pleased to hire him for any plumbing work. Thanks, Chris !
