Being totally blind I am always very wary about hiring anyone to do jobs for me. Even recommendations from friends have turned out badly in the past. I then tried an online search for a local reputable business and that's where I came across www.mybuilder.com I needed paving slabs laid to allow wheelchair access to my front garden, so decided to register and check out the website. A few days after placing a job, I was contacted by Jim Petrie of Ptree Surgery and Groundworks. Jim called on me soon after and we agreed a price and a date when the work would commence. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and I felt sorry for Jim and his side kick Greg digging out muddy earth in the pouring rain. Lots of people shy away from blind people as they don't know how to react, but Jim was very helpful and explained to me exactly what he was doing throughout the job. He also made sure the area was safe so that I didn't accidently trip over anything. Both Jim and Greg were very pleasant and the job was finished on time. I would highly recommend Ptree Surgery and Groundworks and have already booked them to pave another part of my garden. Within hours of the job being completed i've already had several comments on how lovely the garden looks with the new Patio area. Tom Lorimer.

Ptree lopped some tall trees in my garden. The brash was chipped and removed, the garden was left tidy and the trees trimmed to my satisfaction. They were very obliging and knowledgeable. I will contavt them again when I need more work done.

Absolutely delighted with the quality of the work. Everything was done perfectly on schedule and with great care and attention to detail. Very satisfied and would have no hesitation to recommend Ptree. In fact we will be hiring them again.

Jim and his men were fantastic! Jim visited very quickly in response to my post and started work within 2/3weeks, and the job was completed on time. They worked very efficiently and my garden looks spectacular. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good groundsman/landscaper.

can't praise jim and his men enough he phoned whenever he got my number arrived when he said removed a hugh willow tree cut back a rowan and removed a smaller sycamore tree for a very good price .The job was done efficiantly and neatly .Jim and his men were so pleasant and very trustworthy.If I need work done again I would definately get them back
