AVOID Ian and his team. They are unprofessional and incompetent. After completing the roof works, Ian has refused to finish the job properly and rarely answers the phone. An independent surveyor as assessed the property and is appalled by the standards. I have had to pay £000s extra to finish the works correctly, I am now taking legal action to recover the significant sums paid. He let his labourer complete the gutters and fascia’s which have constantly leaked for the past 6 months. I don’t know how Ian sleeps at night but as he says this is the way his world works!Answer from tradesperson:
Hi all. Fortunately I have all what’s app messages correspondence between me and shamil in my what’s app inc of all pics. I have never ignored his calls or txts but occasionally I have missed them during working hours. He is a very unreasonable man that seems to believe that he is being had over all the time. I certainly did not send my labourer to do any work for him,he took his number and done it for himself. I returned on the 23rd of August and rectified a minor issue of mine and many other issues of other trades that I done at my own expense just to get him off of my back. He originally hired me to do the back shed on this forum and he was very satisfied with. The work that he is now talking about has nothing to do with my builder and has all now been carried out to his satisfaction. He even got another trade to pull the work apart.work in progress.pic. Wants me to fit mesh around the solar panels now.? Don’t think so His review is nonsense. Always check your clients properly.

We hired Ian and his team to roof our rear and side extensions after receiving a very competitive quote from him. Ian is such a nice polite and a very considerate gentleman. Our brief interaction with him has made a lasting impact on us as individuals. He will always inform us of the days he will be coming to us; if for some reason he is unable to make it, he would either text or call to let us know. They always turned up early to complete what has been planned for the day. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. They did an excellent job!!!! Highly recommend Ian and his team. Done a fantastic job on my replacement garage flat roof. Very pleased with the results and the work was completed as discussed within time and agreed cost which was very competitive. All rubbish was removed and Ian is a man of his word and I did not have to chase. Ian came and quoted us for a pitch roof on our single storey extension to replace the current flat roof, the quote was a fair price and after discussing the job with Ian we felt confident that he was the man for the job. Ian was extremely hard working and efficient he was punctual and was on site exactly when he said he would be and even dealt with the building inspector for us. Very happy with the job that has been done. A very old tin and glass roof was removed and replaced with new board and felt one, impressed with the quality of the products used. Ian was punctual on every visit, attention to detail was paid, especially on a concerning join with the neighbours roof to which a thoroughly professional job was done. A fair price was quoted and a very professional job was done. Ian had been so efficient. We negotiate and he came within a week. Very reliable and came just before 7.30am with his crew. He completed the job by 2.10pm. Take off old flat roof and lay New one. He even did a minor for me and take away all the rubbish. I'll recommend for anyone. Had given his number to two people already.
