It was a fairly straightforward job but he completed it quickly, to a high standard, and made improvements to the wiring beyond the scope of the original job. He came round to uninstall our old hob and put in the new one. However, the new one wouldn't quite fit in the existing space - but he kindly offered to cut the right size in the worktop then and there (luckily he had the right tools in his van!), saving us loads of hassle and time! He did an excellent job all around and at a very fair price. We won't hesitate to use him again. He was super professional and friendly, and came on the same day I contacted him to remove a socket that was in the way, so I could complete the installation of a built-in dishwasher. He also helped me install the dishwasher and mount the door, even though this was outside the remit.
