Avoid HC Bathrooms, Paul and the account name Sidney Chislom. In my experience this has been nothing short of fraud. We paid £2,000 upfront toward a £6,000 job after they pushed hard to secure the work. They ripped out our entire bathroom and left it unusable. They only put up four tiles, brought the wrong materials, broke the tiles we bought and made us pay for delivery twice. They kept giving excuses such as a broken van, needing new tools and even claiming a break in. They then stopped responding and blocked us. The small amount of work they did was unsafe. The toilet was fitted incorrectly and leaked through our ceiling, causing part of it to collapse. We have been left with damage, extra costs and a bathroom we cannot use. Completely unprofessional behaviour. I strongly warn others not to use this company.

Worst interaction with any contractor. This man that goes by the name of Tommy showed up to my house ever so professional but did the unthinkable. He asked me for a deposit of £500 to buy sundry materials, I agreed but I asked him for proof of ID as I was exchanging money and he was going to have access to my property that I share with my kids. He told me a sob story that he didn’t feel comfortable sharing his ID and stupid me went ahead and transferred the money as I thought his story was genuine. Instead he sent me an invoice with an address that he claimed he lives. The day when he was to commence the work at 08:30 he sent me a text message to say he would be late as can’t leave his house as there was an incident and the police closed his road. I waited and waited for an update but nothing. I drove to the address he had said he lived and there was no incident, no police no road closure. I called him and asked him why he lied and if he could return my money, no reply.

Summary of my experience with HC Bathroom: Very unsatisfied 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲and I will definitely not recommend 🥹🥹🥹🥹 1. Substandard workmanship. 2. Shoddy work: The job was done carelessly and with poor attention to detail. 3. Lack of craftsmanship: The finished product shows a clear absence of skill. 4. Unprofessional finish: The overall appearance is messy and unfinished. Been trying to get him to come and correct the mistakes he made but to no avail 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

Project: Renovate bathroom, install a new shower etc. began the next day, making swift progress & giving me confidence in the project’s momentum. Although progress slowed toward the end & the 2-week timeframe was extended slightly, Henry communicated openly about the reasons, which were genuine, unforeseen issues. During the project, Henry remained approachable & professional. Took the time to discuss structural considerations, present options, & ensure our expectations were aligned. His consistent updates were greatly appreciated & provided reassurance at every stage. Quote included modern, high-quality, & well-priced, pleased with their selection. Overall, I am delighted with the final result. Henry went above & beyond in offering support, responding to observations, all with notable patience. The only drawbacks were the extended project duration & some cosmetic finishing details—such as the silicone work—which, in my view, slightly detract from an otherwise excellent bathroom.

Too me a while to write this as so annoyed. I will let the pictures tell the truth, took 5 weeks, always something wrong, 0 cutting skills. Redone a panel and tought ok, will be fixed, no , the tops are leaking underneath, radiator not working and is wonky, flooring .... cut my leg in one as not straight. Worst experience ever, now after I have requested for a report, no one will try to fix it needs to be redone, for me to put another radiator need a new panel. If anyone want more picture with , with pleasure will send. Henry, you always find excuses , you are the one that came to rectify the issues and still gaps, I have asked you to send me the link from where you bought the panels, nothing,and told me that you will send me back some money, around £150, now it cost more to redo all .

What a joke. Henry walks the walk but cowboy builder of note. 7 days turned into a nightmare. Still no toilet £6000 later.. DO NOT USE… Paid in full lesson learnt. Now have to pay to have a new toilet and tiling redone… Ruined our floors and no respect for any of your furnishings. Cover sheets NO plus the rest… Oh by the way this started in October 2025 and to date still no working toilet…2/2/2026. And not to mention the LVT flooring that has to be redone.

Thanks Henry & Paul for doing a great job re tiling my bathroom. Very friendly, helpful and easy to work with and the communication has been great from start to finish. I will definitely be in touch for more work in the future.

Henry was really reliable & done an amazing job on my bathroom would definitely recommended using!

Recently hired them to completely refit my bathroom and toiletroom. They sis not finish the job as scheduled day. I can Workmanship was just okay. I was disappointed that my finished work was not as aspected. Day after they completed, there was leakage, no cold water on the basin sink, the tower rail wasnt fixed properly and came off on one side of the frame. They did not put screws on the attached rail and it came off just pulling off the towel. There was leakage on the shower pipe. The outside steel colour of the shower joints were errored. Tiling was very basic. The floor mat wasnt sticked properly. I have to hire another plumber to do few jobs as they said they are busy. Over all it was not as standared as it should have been after paying over 7k. I might have to redo it again in in near future.
