GR Plastering reviews (19)

Great job done in 3 rooms ( this was for a client of mine and that has to be perfect ). Hard worker and very clean and tidy Would recommend and use for my own projects

The good points: punctual, managed to make a mix of old and new plasterboard on both walls and ceilings look good. The not so good points: quite a lot of mess (admittedly some is to be expected), took longer than expected (expected Thurs/Fri but ended up being Thurs/Tues/Wed). Overall I am pleased with the finished plasterwork and would consider using Gareth again.

I wish I could upload a picture. Gareth arrived for the job 3 hours late, he completed the job (very messy), a month later the plaster fell off the ceiling whilst we had a professional decorator round (luckily it didn't fall on the kids!). Since this Gareth has refused to reply to any messages or take any calls. Claims it is not his fault and won't correct it or give us a refund. Shocking work which I will be reporting to trading standards due to how dangerous it is - if I was you I'd steer clear of Gareth Roberts Plastering services.

Makes a good job a little messy but plastering isn't a clean job

Absolutely fantastic he gave me a great price and kept me informed before he started the job all the way through to the end as I work away. Very good professional plasterer. I would recommend him to anyone

Great finish to the work, really nice guy

Gareth contacted us to provide a quote on the skim plastering job I posted. He is very friendly and flexible on working hours. He doesn't mind traveling to York (our new home). He did a great job

Gareth came to our 1930s house after our original plasterer let us down. He was recommended to us by a friend and was able to start with very short notice. We were able to leave him the keys whilst I was at work and he was happy to give me updates by text or phone calls. We needed three bedrooms plastering including the ceilings and we are amazed at the finish he was able to achieve. His work is outstanding. I would highly recommend him.

Gareth advertised online so I contacted him directly. We had some patio doors fitted and Gareth plaster boarded and skimmed the reveals. He was reliable and turned up when he said he would. He was also friendly and did a great job of the plastering.
