Whole house
(Updated on 22 Jan 2017)Do not hire, Mario seemed like a nice guy who could professionally paint my parents newly renovated house. He seemed trust worthy and honest. We had some newly plastered walls that needed painting and a new oak bannister and oak doors which needed varnishing. Also the rest of the house needed painting due to building work having been carried out. Mario literally just painted the walls and done some filling but none of the rooms have been finished to a professional standard which we were promised. Mario has not finished the job and we've given him 90% of the money. He did not tidy up. I had to clean the paint from the windows myself. While painting the stairs mario said he needed to cut the carpet slightly as we were having it replaced later but he ripped out the whole carpet and we were left with sharp carpet grippers on the stairs for over a month as the carpet was due to be fitted much later. I had to clean the paint from my parquet flooring myself. No finishing touches have been done, the cutting around the windows and doors has not been done properly. No sanding around the skirting board. No attempt has been made to make the work look professional. No one room has been finshed completely. I have now had to post the job again. Mario was unable to put coving on professionally so i had to pay another builder to put it. Even though i had paid mario for the work. Overall the walls which were painted are not smooth and the job has not been finished even though i contacted mario

I am surprised what you wrote. We agreed for painting and we did a good job for you. That’s why you gave us a positive feedback at first. Every day you forced us to do things we didn’t agreed at first place for no extra cost. For example correct door frames wrongly fitted by carpenter or repair walls damaged by other builders in finished rooms. I am not responsible for other builders. We very often give customers a favour for no extra cost. Some of them mentioned that in their feedback. But we already gave you a few favours and I couldn't agree to do another one. You may be disappointed that we stopped doing things for free but don’t say we do bad quality. Please read my other feedbacks which describe our real attitude and style of work.
