Distance from house to garage approx 5m and consumer unit located less than 1m from front door and external wall. Donkey work in garage will already be done- will have installed sockets and lights and will just need these connecting to unit in garage. Currently have old style fuse box- see photos. Have purchased consumer unit from screwfix and will have swa and smaller unit for garage. Need some guidance on running the swa to meets regs- will go under decking- but can have all this ready beforehand.
Price was in line with other quotes, booked on basis of reviews. Good communication from Ryan and the guys he sent were on the ball and completed the job well. Ryan showed flexibility/proportionality against difficult covid19 circumstances. Part P paperwork arrived promptly. Ryan, the boss, was on time for the two meetings we had. He and his team arrived exactly on time and the work was completed with the minimum of disruption. Both Dave and Arthur, who actually undertook the job were most amenable and worked solidly from arrival until the job was completed most satisfactorily. They cleaned up all traces of the work having been done, including their own vacuuming. All done for what I consider a very reasonable price: certainly value for money. Within minutes of their departure one of the SMT of the company arrived to check I was satisfied and the work was up to standard. Most impressive. I would recommend this company unhesitatingly. There is still some work to complete but we were waiting for approval from the council to complete it before it could be carried out once that is in place Foster’s will be back to complete all the necessary and I will have a fully functioning, safe home, left in a tidy condition.
