Job well bone and fast service

Filip fit herringbone laminate flooring in my home in March 2023 and promised if any issues arise within 2 years he will address and fix. My laminate flooring has already started rising after 2 months as FIlip has done a terrible job, everytime you walk on the flooring you can hear squeaky noises. I wouldn't trust a word this guy says, please do not employ him. It's gonna cost me double to get another guy in to fix the issues which have arisen due to FIlip's shoddy work. FIlip is dishonest and will not answer my calls.

Filip turned up lovely guy friendly, we agreed he would put self leveller down and tiling. put self leveller down we paid him for that. Was suppose to turn up the next day to start tiling but said he had hay fever and would be in the next day. He did not turn up again and text to say 100% Monday. Monday came and he did not turn up. I text and called all day with no response the. He then message me Tuesday to say he had been in hospital and he could maybe do it when he was out. We said that's fine it's understandable. We said we would wait for him. He then never messaged back for days again and I said we also want our bathroom done. We have had to get a new tiler. The communication has been ridiculous. We understand if he was in hospital but it is now a week later and we still haven't heard from him. After reading reviews I wish I read them before we took him on for the job as seems he has done this before. Very frustrating as put my kitchen fitting behind ect too. So I would suggest do not offer him a job to do for you

Came promptly on time . Did a decent job . And finished on time. Price is very reasonable.

I’m disappointed with the poor quality of the job and the care that Filip took with my house. Some of the issues: - Uneven and spongy floor on several areas. One of the points was to level the floor where needed, but was not done. - Cracking floorboards under the laminate because they were not screw down or glued to mitigate the noise (this is really disturbing!). - Planks damaged before or during the installation, and that couldn’t be replaced later apparently. - End joints in adjacent rows of plank staggered by as little as 7cm, when the recommended distance is 30cm minimum (planks are 1.2m long). - Used same laminate plank pattern for adjacent positions. - Damaged walls (specially corners), and ceilings. Not good at all considering ceilings had been just skimmed and painted, and walls just painted. - Big gaps between skirting board and laminate on some areas, up to 8mm. - Did not clean properly after him, and left the waste inside the house. - Did not respect the 10mm clearance with the walls, on several areas laminate were in contact with the wall! This was corrected after my request. - Left the laminate stair nosing above the original lip. This was corrected after my request. - Left a big gap between the laminate and the baluster that pretended to fill with silicone. This was corrected after my request. I tried to contact him some time after payment to look just at one of the issues, and he never responded. Now I need to get someone else to fix this.

Filip was very professional in his approach to the job and his focus to getting the job done was fantastic. Carpet removal and installation of my new flooring and finishing was brilliant and he did it all in good time. Thank you for a job well done. Will definitely recommend.

work done in October/ nov : 2 bathrooms done and the entire sealant needs to be replaced.T he tiling is irregular in bith bathrooms and on a wall the tiles are just pushed into the wall. he damaged my basin /toilet unit.and replaced the toilet panel with a Screwfix panel which is not as white as the vanity unit and is thicker so the entire vanity unit looks odd.this unit needs to be replaced and the contractor is ignoring my request. the ensuite shower is leaking because it is badly sealed and the leak not only has flooded my fuse box twice. but now is running on the wall/ceiling of my kitchen. the sealant is so badly fitted that you can be removed with your finger abd it will come off. the sealant used is sometimes 3/4 in wide.aorund the shopwer taps mixer the sealand is just loose. Loft board. the quotation was for an entire loft and Filip only did 1/3 saying it could not reach the rest but did not change the pricing. Kitchen wall removed and instead of a metal lintel he installed 3 wooden beams to support the ceiling. Finish a concrete base in the garden and when wooden planks are removed there are holes in the concrete on the edge. Laminate flooring fitted and yet he did not fixed the floor so the floor is uneven. Radiator in bathroom is not straight. was called to sort out the problems and has not returned calls or text or emails. I have also reported via checkatrade and seeking damages. seems to be always sick on Mondays!!!
