The macerator was fitted and works, however there was quite a lot of sewage water leakage that the plumber failed to mention, which I only found out when I went into my kitchen and found sewage water pouring through the light fitting onto my kitchen island. After I'd put a bucket under it and old towels down to soak up the mess on the floor, I went up and asked about the leak, and if he had enough sheets or towels to mop it up. He told me he'd used my hand and bath towels but could use some more!
I'm astounded that a plumber 1. Would allow such a huge water leak, and 2. Would have something in place to catch or mop up any leaks. Not using a customer's hand and bath towels to mop up sewage!
After he'd finished and gone I had to rip up the lino to clean up the water still under it, and allow it to dry. I also now have to seal and re paint my kitchen ceiling due to the sewage stains where it leaked.
Yes I have a working toilet, so he did the job, but left devastation too.
