Craig did excellent work, despite some last minute changes - at our request. He was very prompt with his estimate. Arrived on time every day. Takes a lot of pride in his work. Cleaned up after himself. We are very happy with our new kitchen and would recommend him to others without hesitation.

Craig has built a fantastic extention to the back of our house. The standard of his work is excellent and completed well within the timescale. He also laid laminate fIooring to all the downstairs and again to a very high standard. The whole job has transformed the house. We are very pleased indeed. I would recommend C J developments without hesitation.

We found Craig through this website, he was very professional and efficient and soon provided us with a competative quote. From the day he started the job we soon realised how experienced he was as a builder and a true profectionist in his work. He is very friendly, completely trustworthy and will go out of his way to make sure the job is done how you want it. Craig knocked a wall down between our lounge and dinning room, added a steel support beam, plastered the walls, laid a wooden floor, made fitted cupboards for gas meters and boiler and installed a cast iron fireplace and surround. We were extremely happy with the job, we were really pleased we found Craig and his team. We will definitely be using is company again.

Craig is in the middle of a project of kitchen refurbishment. He is a very talented and diligent builder. He has made some useful suggestions and is a perfectionist about his work (without sacrificing time). So far, so good. I'll leave final feedback after the project completion in about 3 weeks.

Couldn't recommend Craig highly enough, a perfectionist when it comes to brickwork. I had him to remove a door and window, brick the door up and install a new window, very friendly, doesn't cut corners and good on price - needless to say I will be using him again.

Craig is an absolutely fantastic builder - having had Craig work on/renovate the outside of our house for 7-8 weeks now, I can honestly say that I cannot fault his work. Better than that - he has surpassed our expectations in every respect. Craig is a real perfectionist. He takes exceptional care and pride in his work. His work really matters to him and he is knowledgeable, skilled and very hard working. To give you an idea of the work he has completed, he has: hacked out and pointed most of our large, 3 storey Victorian House; fitted new facias and soffits to both gable ends; pointed the chimneys and renewed the flashings; fixed the lead gulleys in the roof/replaced many broken slates, rebuilt the crumbling arches over three windows; built two garden walls and renovated the original - rebuilding part of it in reclaimed brick; replaced all guttering and downpipes - some cast iron; completely revamped the front taking out horrible pink/grey flags and fitting new Victorian style 6 inch tiles and more, I am sure. He has gone out of his way to help me - meeting me at the reclamation yard to help me choose/measure up for stone for walling/doorstep and threshold - and he took it back home for me. Craig is such a superb craftsman that we have now given him a large building project to complete inside - and two of our neighbours, having watched him work so meticulously and professionally, have given him work as well. Do not hesitate to appoint Craig: I cannot recommend him enough.

Craig was very polite and had no problem in providing us with a quote for some building works we required. His price was very competitive and he came across as very professional so we instructed him to carry out the works. He even came out prior to starting the job again to confirm our requirements and finalise the details. The works comprised of removing a boundary wall and replacing it with some timber fence posts and fence panels. The products used were of a very high quality and the finished product looks amazing and has transformed our drive. He then carried out internal works removing a load bearing wall and installing a beam lintol. This was then plaster boarded out and then skimmed. He kept us informed on what he was doing and what he would be doing so we knew how the job was progressing. Again the job was finished to a very high standard and looks fantastic. We now have an open plan living/dining room that has completely transformed the feel of our house. We have some more works in the pipeline and he will definitely be top of our list! I would highly recommend him.
