These guys were/are absolutely phenomenal. I met them on Sunday night as my builder had let me down and they were in at 8am the next day. They worked for 8 days solidly including Saturday and Sunday and turned around a bathroom. I’ve been in the trade as a landlord for 20 years and they are the best builders I have encountered. It was a high end bathroom and their finish was of a really high standard. So much so that they are doing a kitchen, toilet and bathroom for me next month. Easy to work with, no hassle and very hardworking. I was really impressed with them. Really nice people as well. Book them up for your jobs - you won’t regret it!!!!

Very quick in responding to my job and came over the next day to do some odd jobs in my bathroom; removing & fitting new fixtures, removing old bath tiles and replacing with a side panel and removing and fitting a new toilet seat. Professional and friendly, would recommend.

Having recently moved house to a place needing a lot of work we couldn't have been more grateful to have found Skelquim and Lee. They refitted the two bathrooms to an excellent standard in the allotted time. We were so impressed with them and their work that we ended up employing them to do countless other jobs including replastering the whole house, re-tiling the roof, repointing areas of the exterior, installing an ensuite in the master bedroom, building alcove shelving and cupboards in the living room as well as panelling the walls and also tanking the cellar/basement room. The are a fantastic team: conscientious, hard-working, highly skilled, honest and reliable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Would recommend Metalia to anyone - really great work, and enjoyable to work with. The team worked under time pressure in a really collaborative way to get what we wanted (a tall ask) done. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

If I could use only one word, it would be EXCELLENT. The job exceeds our wildest expectations. In a space about 6 feet x 3 feet 6 inches we have had a newly tiled floor, the groggy tiles have been removed from the wall and the blown plaster which was making them so loose has been repaired and the walls re-tiled. Into the space has been installed an offset quadrant shower cubicle with a rainfall shower unit, (with doors which glide), a hand basin and a slimline WC with a macerator and we still found room for a 60cm heated towel rail (it can be a very cold room in winter). And the layout is such that we can move around easily ... it doesn't feel crowded. In a word, it's beautiful - what more can I say? Nearly forgot - they tee'd off the hand basin cold feed, neatly drilled through the wall and installed a long needed outside tap. They make it look so easy .... They were two very polite men, with ready smiles, easy to get on with, showed initiative (but asked us first) and my guess is that they take a pride in their work, so you should have no doubts about whether or not to hire these to lads. If I could, I'd give them 15/10 for this job, indeed, we've just retained them to re-decorate the whole house ready to let. That says it all. Thank again fellas, good luck for the future.

Shkelqim and his colleague were punctual and got the job done very quickly. They rebuilt the moulding, which is a nice touch, and they completely cleaned after themselves. Would highly recommend.

Jimmy and his brother Lee finished the work to high standards. They finished the work in a week as agreed and was very courteous and friendly throughout. Their friendly demeanour and patience to listen and adapt the work was very helpful for us as we grew in confidence that we have made the right choice in picking them. They cleaned up the place everyday before leaving and left the place nice and clean. I would definitely recommend them for all types of building work and would hire them for more work in the future.

Metalia Construction completed an excellent job remodelling and replacing my bathroom, including moving one internal wall. They were patient with the delay in me getting permission for the works, communicated clearly beforehand and throughout, offering advice and guidance as needed. The work was completed very quickly and to a very high standard of finish, with any snags sorted through excellent after care, which was very welcome. Shkelqim and his brother were very polite and worked around my work timings and the limited space very well. I would definitely recommend them for any similar works.

Jimmy and his team did an absolutely amazing job of building our wetroom bathroom - we extended into one of our bedrooms to create space for the new bathroom, which meant they knocked down a wall and built two new walls before beginning the bathroom work. They rerouted our pipes, inserted the wetroom membrane, installed all finishings (basin, shower etc) and tiled. All work was impeccable, and executed with extreme care and precision! One thing which was really notable was how they cleaned up every day after before they left - it was wonderful how they “respected” our house in keeping their work space so clean at the end of each day. The team were super friendly, hard-working and professional for the duration of the time they worked - we could not recommend them more! Thank you Jimmy and team for giving us such a beautiful bathroom!
