We wanted to re-model the back of our house downstairs and to make better use of the conservatory by providing easier access. There were 3 rooms, kitchen, study and dining room. All rooms were fairly small and the study had lost it's usefulness. The plan was to remove two internal walls to make an open plan kitchen dining room.
After 4 weeks, as originally planned, the transformation has been incredible. The workmanship and attention to detail has been tremendous from all of Gareth's team. There was a lot of dirt and dust, especially early on, but they cleared up as they went along keeping it all to a minimum. It hasn't all been plain sailing but they have been more than equal to the task.
The back of the house now flows and works as it should and with the addition of bi-fold doors to the conservatory, we can open up the room even more. It's fantastic.
For us, like most I suspect, the most difficult part of the build was to allow a bunch of strangers into your home and start knocking things down, and ripping things out, due to the many bad stories you hear about builders. Yet Gareth's team were very respectful towards us and our home and were very friendly and trustworthy. We gave them a key to let themselves in and lock up behind themselves whilst we went to work.
I have no problems whatsoever in recommending these builders. I have a lot of before during and after shots which I plan on sending to be put on their website, so others can take a look and see for themselves.
