D & L Stoves and Fireplaces Ltd reviews (187)

Completed the job including extra's to the fireplace. cleaned up around the fire and left the fireplace clean and tidy. Couldn't fault them. Thanks guys.

We are really pleased with the work that has been carried out. We would recommend you to other people that ask us who carried out the work. We were pleased this got finished in a timely manner.

Quick efficent service. Made a second visit out as original fire place I bought had chip. Only comment is when asked for cost of second visit was not advised so given a 80 extra charge not budgeted for which was only for travel time (as work was agreed with a fox cost)

First class service. Very helpful advice from David and his staff. Work completed to a high standard and also very clean, tidied up any mess and left the place immaculate. Highly recommend.

Great company to deal with, I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The fitting of the chimney liner was a bit problematic but the guys coped and so we now have a working flue and benefit from a new gas fire

David was professional and knowledgeable about his trade. David contacted me to discuss our job and provided a quote the same day. The job was completed to a high standard and we are delighted to finally have our fireplace installed in our new home. Highly recommend. Very positive experience.

Excellent service. Turned up early and replaced the chimney cowl despite the windy weather. The job was done quickly and to the agreed price. Thanks

Excellent work. Quick and clean.

Liam did a very good job installing a new wood burning stove in an existing recess, boarding up the sides of the recess and installing a polished slate hearth. Everything was left tidy, and walls were smooth. Price charged was exactly as quoted. Couple of things that could be improved - slightly late arrival on the day of the job and the team forgot to install the carbon alarm. Payment was expected to be made the day after the job, which I had not noticed in the quote Ts & Cs. The company did agree I could pay a few days later when I had had a chance to light the fire and confirm everything was working, which it was. I appreciated this flexibility. Overall a positive experience and I can recommend this company.
