    Repoint areas of stone floor
    Ben kindly carried out some stone floor repointing and filling in some gaps around the flooring for me. It turned out to be a bit of a challenge which resulted in more work but Ben was honest, upfront and open about the extra cost involved. A really lovely man with excellent workmanship and work ethic and great communication. Thanks Ben, the floor looks great!

    Replace Yorkshire stone brick
    Really friendly and experienced guy. Replaced a crumbling Yorkshire stone brick at the front of my house. Thanks again Ben.

    Repointing 12 stone steps and wall around steps

    Repointing Areas on House
    Ben responsed very quickly to my ad for some repointing. After accepting his quote he arrived when he said he would and completed the work with minimum fuss. We were very happy with the work carried out and would be more than happy to use Ben again and recommend him to family/friends . Chris Clifton

    Sealing of coal shoot
    We've been renovating our house for the past 2 years and Ben was by far one of the most professional and helpful builders we've worked with. Did a great job at sealing an old coal shoot in the cellar. He was polite, clean and tidy - would definitely recommend and hire again.

    Fire wall in roof space
    I initially contacted Ben to provide a quote for a firewall in the loft space. He arrived when he said he would and was friendly and knowledgeable. The quote given was very reasonable and he started work within a couple of days. Ben and his workmate Johnny were polite and professional and worked constantly, not even stopping for lunch. The work was finished within the timeframe given and is to a high standard. I have since hired him to re-set the wall plate bricks on my property, repair and reposition a fence and the re-pointing of my 1890's stone property and garden wall (which look amazing!). All done to a high standard. Ben clearly takes pride in his work and nothing is too much trouble. I now have a builder I can trust in Ben and would highly recommend him. Very happy customer - Well done BR Services!

    Repointing lower area at front of stone built house
    Ben, was great, quoted quickly for the repointing work I needed doing, he came to do the work when he said he would & has done an excellent job. I'm very pleased & am happy to recommend him to anyone needing a reliable & pleasant builder.

    Damp patch to ground floor hallway.
    I hired Ben for some damp proofing in my property in September. Initially everything seemed ok, however 3 months down the line the damp had returned with a vengeance. I politely asked Ben to come and have a look. Ben came out and completely fobbed off the situation. Saying it was not damp. There is clearly evidence of severe damp present, you can see it and feel it and even the moisture metre is reading 'off limits'. He then sent a rude message telling me that he is ‘pissed off’ and will be walking away from the job. At that point he also mentioned that he had only made £150 on the job. I got the impression that because of this he didn’t feel he should have to rectify the situation. This was an odd statement as Ben came to my property to quote for the job and was paid exactly what he had quoted, so if this is the case, then surely this is due to Ben under quoting on the job and therefore not my fault! Following this Ben blocked my number becoming un-contactable. Clearly didn’t want to come to any type of resolution. I found this a bit extreme and very unprofessional conduct for a business man in my opinion. Oh and his Facebook business page happened to disappear too! Ben is a con man, I have come to realise later down the line that he has not done what he had promised/said he was going to do. If/when anything goes wrong he will take offence, become rude, unprofessional, take no responsibility, block your number and will be gone for dust.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Hi Aneka I’m sorry you feel this way and in doing so have changed your original feedback from positive to negative. On first inspection of your property you had damp on 4 separate walls of the basement conversion, the front wall I said I couldn’t be sure were the damp was coming from so I couldn’t guarantee that wall. As explained this could be a issue with the roof and water leaking down into the cavity and transferring onto the plaster work. I fixed all the other issue and fitted a extractor fan free of charge. You then called me back saying you had damp again on the wall which I originally stated I couldn’t guarantee because it was a issue with the roof along with another separate wall. I agreed to come and have a look at the roof to see if I could see where the problem was. I then had calls at 12am demanding I was to do the roof and the damage free of charge! As explained to you on several occasions the wall you was referring to had nothing to do with the work I came out to originally do! I will not take abuse off people, or have customers calling at 12am when I have a young baby in bed! At no point were you fobbed off as I explained the situation several times however you still demanded I come back to rectify work which I had never agreed to do or did! I have 98% positive feedbacks on mybuilder, my work is carried out to the highest standards. It is unfortunate communication broke down however there does come a point in which something has to give.     Clean and repair 2 doorsteps to pensioners bungalow
    Efficient, thorough and fairly priced. A very pleasant cheerful young man and I would employ him again any time.
