The real problem wasn’t missing materials which can be bought at any point locally. Obviously you need materials if you want to do the job, common sense rules. Customer contacted me 2 days before agreed date of installation saying they have subfloor issue and skirting boards are not installed and they need more time to do that prior to my arrival. I’m on tight schedule and date I offered was to far in future. They contacted me again shortly after saying they will be ready for me on the date we’ve agreed originally. When I get there I found nothing was done to fix the serious subfloor issue, no skirting boards installed. I refused to do the job because I have no view to finish it, also completely wrecked subfloor would cause immediate problem that I would be first to blame for. They expected me to fix the issue as a part of the job out of charge. I would appreciate a little bit of honesty in your feedback. This is what I’m doing for a living and I can’t afford to waste my working days like that.
