    To restore a gas supply to my gas fire

    very punctual, did a really good job in a short space of time ,very reasonable price,very pleasant manor,would use these again an recommend them

    Fireplace/hearth installation

    JKM have done a great job on my fire installation. I first wanted them to install a flue liner and gather hood and knock the fireplace out myself. When this didn't go to plan, Alan was a great help in suggesting the type of fire suitable for the hole in the wall and it was ordered and installed within a couple of weeks. The whole job took a day and a half and Carl and Danny who came to do the work took great care to make as little mess as possible. They did a great job and the awful mess I'd made in the wall is now a lovely cast iron inset fireplace. They're due back in the next couple of days to fit the vent which had not arrived with the rest of the fire etc., which is no problem as we had to leave the fire for a week to dry (there was some plaster to repair from my outstanding work with a bolster chisel). Very pleased with the fire supplied and the standard of work to install. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to sort out your fireplace or chimney.

    Convert open fire to multifuel stove
    Prompt response, survey, and quote. Also gave sensible advice on design and aspects to consider. I thought the quote was reasonable, and when the work was being done they were clean and considerate. I am happy with the work done, and will use them again if I activate another dormant fireplace. I will recommend them

    Fitting isolater switches

    Alan Ashworth.... The engineer who did the work on my gas fires, he was punctual to the time stipulated, efficient, expert knowledge, and left the job clean and tidy, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, BRILLIANT.............

    Inspect domestic chimney & flue to gas fire

    What a great company, if Alan is anything to go by! Friendly, approachable, great communication and provided free advice on my daughter's sitting room fire and flue! Very, very impressed! Alan tested and recommissioned my daughter's gas fire without the 'sharp intake of breath' feared by almost all of us! The charge was far better than even 'reasonable'. Brilliant!!! This company gets my vote every time! Happy to give verbal feedback if anyone is even slightly apprehensive! CRG - Lancashire

    Sirocco Gas Fire

    plumbing

    Don't use this plumber he priced for a basic plumbing job of joining a 25 mm water pipe to a 15 mm copper water pipe. I accepted his price. He turned up at the day and time stated only to tell me that he had not done it before and couldn't do it so he left. He did change 3 radiator valves but never checked it they leaked. COWBOY

    Answer from tradesperson:

    This is an unfortunate case of miscommunication between our engineer and the client. Upon trying to contact the customer after receiving this feedback we did not get the chance to explain as the customer hung up the phone. JKM have offered an apology, a full refund and to send our head engineer to complete the works free of charge. This offer was left via voicemail as the customer will not take our call. Again we apologise to the customer and the offer given is open for as long as needed. JKM have quality control procedures in place to make sure our clients are getting quality workmanship at a competitive rate and we find what has happened unacceptable and steps to change policy have been made so it never happens again.
