I called Adam of Apex Roofing for a quote to replace our decorative timber fascia, barge boards, guttering and down spouts on our Victorian semi which we received the very next day. The quote was competitive and we arranged a start date to tie in with other trades that were working on the house. Adam could not have been more amenable. On starting the work Adam communicated any issues, regularly updated me with progress reports and even fixed a number of broken slates and repointed our ridge tiles (which now look amazing). Adam is incredibly approachable (as is Mike) and easy to deal with, there was no hassle or problems throughout the job and it was telling that numerous passers by asked for his business card on seeing the work he was doing. Adam is a perfectionist which can be seen in the overall quality of work, it was faultless, my fascias and guttering now look fantastic. I would definitely recommend Apex to friends, family and random strangers! Top work chaps

Adam contacted us shortly after posting the job and agreed to come and inspect a few days later. Very thorough in his inspection of the problem, quoted there and then and followed it up with an email confirmation. Job completed on time and to our satisfaction. Time will tell if the leak from the flashing has been cured, but after heavy rain these last few days all seems well. Very pleasant tradesman whom I would recommend.

Very happy with Adam's work and customer service. Very prompt response once I posted the job and he came back immediately with a competitive quote. Within the week he spent a full day resolving longstanding chimney/ leadwork issues and a number of smaller issues. In addition he identified and resolved a number of other problems relating to previous poor workmanship on the slate roof. He's committed to return on a regular basis to check for other issues- so good after service. I'm confident he's resolved the main leaks (although we'll need a rain storm to know for sure) and would therefore highly recommend.

Adam arrived to quote and was very honest with his assessment and extremely fair with his quotation. He arrived when he said he would and not only fixed the leaking chimney flashing with a neat job and his own materials but also came back on a separate occasion to fit me an air brick on a wall that suffered from damp patches. In addition, Adam has also helped me with the installation of a flue pipe - not even part of his quote - and although we hit a few problems has assured me he will come again and ensure we get it down as he is clearly a chap who goes out of his way for the customer. A good guy and certainly somebody I would trust to use again and recommend to friends. He even contacted me when it rained to check if the chimney was leaking!!! (unlike a previous roofer I used off here who basically didn't give a stuff once they'd been paid). You want a trustworthy company who know what they're doing - give Apex a go.

Adam was friendly, polite and professional. He was reliable, his costs for the work fair and he even did a couple of additional jobs I asked him to look at on the day and did not charge for these. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
