I had a complete flat refurbishment including full re-wire, new kitchen and new bathroom. The workmanship is outstanding and I am more than happy with the completed work. The builders were polite, reliable and hard working. Andrew always made sure he understood what was expected and if he had any doubts he would phone to ask. The flat was left clean, in fact, spotless with all rubbish having been cleared away.I would 100% recommend this company.

Beautifully finished cloakroom and family bathroom. There have been some issues with leaks from the shower enclosures, but Andrew has been prompt in coming back to fix them.Have since hired Andrew to decorate my bedroom and I am very pleased with the result

Lovely to deal with. Andrew and his team renovated our kitchen and bathroom. Over the 2 jobs we dealt with about 4 guys from his team - all were very pleasant. The jobs were completed on time and all snags handled quickly. There were some unexpected additional jobs along the way (a wall that needed re-building / fuse board that needed moving) and Andrew was helpful in offering various solutions. The standard of workmanship was high, but not always perfect. That said, whenever I pointed out areas I wasn't entirely happy with, Andrew was always willing to re-do them. It was nice working with a fixed price - it meant I knew the guys would be working as hard as they could, and they also dealt with all sorts of annoying problems without charging any extra or saying it wasn't possible - a small example is getting a roll top cast iron bath up a narrow flight of stairs, which took them a couple of hours.

I would highly recommend this firm of builders. They completed a new bathroom upstairs, including demolition of old bathroom and installation of new bathroom exactly how we designed it. They also built a downstairs cloakroom for us and did a fantastic job in the limited space available. We only had 2 weeks before Christmas to complete all of the work and Andrew and his team worked extremely hard to ensure it was all done ready for Christmas and within the timeframe specified. The end result is just lovely, we are very pleased with the aesthetic look, all tiling and installation of goods was done to a very high standard, and everything works perfectly! They are a very friendly team who try to make you feel as comfortable as possible whilst the work is being carried out. They are also very clean and tidy - every evening they would tidy all parts away, sweep and generally tidy up so we could use the rest of the house as normal as possible. I will definitely be using this firm again in the future.

Andrew is very experienced and efficient. The job was completed within the time he said it would take, without compromising the quality. I would strongly recommend him to anybody that needs work done.

I was really positive surprised to meet a builder who did mention a finishing date in to the contract. He finished the job before the date and did a brilliant job. Highly recommended. We had the whole bathroom job done, stripping out the old one, removing old tiles, changing the ceiling and finishing with new tiles and objects to a high standard. Many thanks Andrew

Andrew did a great job on our bathroom. It was a big job and not without its problems along the way....Andrew dealt with everything well, including rectifying any issues and suggesting solutions. The job ran slightly over time but they worked on the Saturday to finish off. We are really pleased with the end result and I would use Sol Gem for future work.

Andrew and his team are all very hard working and trust worthy. They turned up early everyday and completed the job a couple of days early. I was so pleased with them I booked them to refurbish my cloakroom.
