It took a few days to find a time where we could meet, but once we did the problem was diagnosed (the flashing was OK, it turned out to be a missing bit of cladding) and a price was agreed promptly just before Xmas, with the work being done soon after. Alex was keen to help quickly, which was the most important thing for me, and the work got done without me having to take time off work to be there.
