Arrange to go out to the property to find where the leak was coming in .The tenant was not home so I had contacted the land lord to let him know no one was home and I’d have to asses the problem from the roof. As I investigated I’ve acknowledged The ridge tiles were loose and the valley needed pointing ,the front of the house above the bedroom window needed pointing and below the bedroom window needed pointing to. I took photos of all of the work that needed doing and sent it to him, we agreed on doing the work for a price and I carried out the work. Weeks later he contacted me regarding the leak had not stopped so I scheduled another visit to view inside loft where I found deterioration in he’s old mineral felt long were the lead valley runs, advised him that we would have to take off the old lead and the old felt and put in new breathable, felt down the valley and place the old lead with New, I’ll give him a price and he was said it was too much can I not just paint it with something I told him doing that will not last so we did not do the work. Seems like he’s got somebody out for £115 to do the work
