    Damp patch after heavy rain
    Avoid at all costs. Used to trade under William Armstrong Damp proofing. 10 year guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Clearly just shuts shop and opens back up under a different name. Looking at the locations of the reviews he must have to work far away from his local area where people know him. Please don’t waste your money and use a professional

    damp patch running along central beam of extension build
    Very pleased with this service, fast and efficient and reasonable. Adapted to requirements when discovered that it was related to guttering issue. Definitely recommend AL Damp Proofing Specialists.

    Small salts/damp patch in kitchen
    Alan treated a relatively small area of damp for us at very short notice. It was clearly evident, both at the start and throughout the process, that Alan was very knowledgeable, and he also provided video footage showing the work performed, which was very helpful. It's fair to say that you pay for expertise rather than time as the procedure did not take long at all. In terms of results only time will tell, though we received a 10 year guarantee. Happy with the work.

    Great communication from Kerri and Alan. Quick to respond on my builder and subsequently book it in. Competitive price. Time will tell if the damp has now gone

    Damp root cause and repair
    Knowledge and tidy work. Good comms and turned up exactly when he said he would. Time will tell if the repair keeps out the damp!

    Repair damp wall
    The job that AL Damp Proofing Specialists did on my very damp wall, has been absolutely brilliant !! It took just one day to complete, by drilling a succession of holes immediately into the existing Victorian damp wall render, and injecting Damp Proof into the holes. No damage was done to the wall, with the minimum of disturbance. Followed by 2 days to dry out. On the 4th and 5th day I was immediately able to re emulsion the wall , with 2 coats of emulsion. The result is a totally dried out wall !!! . I cannot thank William enough for so quickly resolving this worrying damp situation, and I thoroughly recommend AL Damp Proofing Specialist.     Damp around the fireplace and in 2 other patches
    Excellent Service from Alan and Kerri - Highly Recommended! From start to finish, the service was outstanding. They were incredibly quick to respond and schedule the work, and the entire process was handled with impressive efficiency. A huge bonus was how clean and tidy they were throughout the job. There was no mess left behind, which I really appreciated. Alan took the time to clearly explain the problem and the solution in a way that was easy for me to understand—which is a lot, as I know very little about damp! Finally, they provided a thorough and straightforward aftercare explanation, ensuring I know exactly what to do moving forward.

    Large damp patch in the bedroom.
    We had damp on our bedroom wall and needed to find the cause and rectify the situation. Alan quickly pinpointed the cause, dealt with the vent-axia and installed a safe chemical within the wall space to repair the damage and stop any further damage. He was very conscientious and precise in his dealings throughout. Excellent communication skills and friendliness
