    Gas fitting for second hand dual fuel oven

    Mykel did a great job for me . Very efficient and stuck to the price he quoted. Would definitely recommend

    Requires gas

    I paid for the gas report supposedly completed on 17/09/19 but until now I haven't received the report either online or by post. He did acknowledge receipt of the money but what I need I have not received

    Answer from tradesperson:

    We are so disappointed to have received this feedback. The report was emailed the same day we carried out the gas check. We have again forwarded it which includes the original email, showing the day it was sent. If we knew it had not been received, this could have been easily rectified if you had let us know. The email could have gone to a spam folder. We ask people to pick up the phone in future if there are issues, we are open and honest and will always do our best for our customers, if we know what has happened.

    Boiler/heating not working.

    They changed appointments several times allegedly due to emergency (1st) and too late to get to job because far away on another job (2nd). When they did attend they did not fully resolve the issue but just made a temporary fix to get boiler heating. I was left a message that it was pressure that was low but they didn't bother to investigate the cause of pressure loss and what can be done to resolve/fix it permanently. Pressure kept dropping low several times a day after they have attended and not fixed it. Despite attempts to get them back to have the job completed fully, I have been ignored. I will not recommend if you need job done well and fully and on time and quickly. Shame because reviews were positive online and they are a local organisation.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Please read below, what more could we do? Instead of posting negative feedback please phone to discuss; We attended to find the boiler had no pressure, we showed the workmen on site the issues and said if it lost pressure again it would need the the expansion vessel changing as we recharged it. If it lost pressure again, it meant this unit was faulty due to lack of maintenance. This is the message we received 2 days later from the customer, we responded the same day; Hi Maria & Mykel, I was under the impression you had sorted my boiler issue when you attended and was paid. But the issue seems to be recurring. The message passed on was the pressure was low. What caused it and keeps making it drop every few hours? Did you investigate this? What is the proposed solution as repressuring every few hours is not a solution. I need you to revisit and resolve the issue please. We responded on the same day; As I explained at the time where this system has been run dry we explained the expansion vessel maybe faulty however we would not know until the system had been repressuried and used for a few days, if you have to keep topping the system up you will require new expansion vessel's one red one white and new prv multi block. A comprehensive explanation was given and a time was organised at our earliest convenience due to other works overrunning. We identified the fault and got the system working; a call out fee was charged for our time as agreed with the customer

    Boiler Service

    Very friendly and professional. Gave me good advice on the general maintenance of my heating system. Would definitely have them back in the future

    Move gas pipe for hob further back

    The job couldn’t be done first time around because the existing gas hob didn’t have a flame supervision device so Mykel advised me to buy a new one. Mykel came back at a later date and fitted the new hob and completed the modification to the pipework. Good communication and reasonably price so would happily use him again.

    Reconnect domestic gas supply

    Inspection and certification of boiler and cooker

    We asked Mykel to carry out a safety inspection on the gas heating system in a house that we where just about to exchange on, as the vendor couldn't provide certs even thought the boiler was new - she also didn't know how the system worked or where the stop cocks or isolation points where - Mykel was fantastic, not only did he carry out a safety check that made us feel relieved that there where no immediate safety concerns but he also talked through how the system worked and how it could be improved to ensure that the heating would be up to keeping a victorian house nice and cosy. We will definitely be using Mykel to carry out the improvements to our heating system and will be using him for our future safety checks and maintenance. We would happily recommend him as reliable and knowledgeable and his services as value for money.

    Removal of radiator.

    Amazing work and quick response. Very clean. I only put request in on Saturday morning and the job is all done by Monday lunch time. Price is very good as well. Will recommend to everyone. Thankyou.
