Adam & his team came round to carry out the repairs to my leaking roof. Unfortunately (for me), the work was far more serious than originally anticipated. Many more split, cracked & damaged tiles were found. The felt below the tiles was badly damaged & had some tears & holes in it. The battens were going rotten & blackened with moisture impregnation. After reviewing the photos & discussing further with Adam, a temporary repair was carried out & accessible broken tiles were replaced with new. Adam recommended that the whole roof needs replacing due to the extent of the damage. The house is nearly 90 years old & probably has never had the tiles changed looking at the extent of the wear of the removed tiles. I've agreed to replace all of the battens, felt & tiles & we've agreed on a date for the work.
