I hired Tony through this site as the work to be done was in a property some 300m from where I live. Tony did an excellent job on installing an Ikea kitchen in a property that I rent. The kitchen was designed and purchased largely remotely and Tony given a short brief, online demo of the plan, plenty of computer generated images and equipment lists; a few issues arose with the overall plan and the dimensions of the pre-cut worktops. However, Tony to his credit applied excellent problem-solving skills to solve all the issues to a completely satisfactory solution. All the work was completed to a very high standard, he co-ordinated all the electrical work with a colleague and made the whole installation very stress-free for me despite me not being on-site. He was very reliable, turned up as agreed and kept communicating with me regarding progress. He also handled an issue with the neighbours very well. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a tradesman for kitchen installations, whether Ikea or bespoke as he clearly can produce solutions from problems!

Tony assembled a first rate team to carry out all the work we specified, and more. We needed a builder, plasterer, electrician, plumber, tiler and of course a joiner - all were helpful, interested and their work was of a good standard. Tony in particular is meticulous in his work, a real 'starter completer' with an eye for the finished look and effect. We asked Tony to coordinate and liaise with us as we were living 200 miles away. He kept us informed of progress regularly and always rang to ensure he did as we wanted. When we hit snags (like the old plaster just falling off) he rang us with a solution already worked out. We found Tony, and team easy to deal with, fair and honest. It is always nerve wracking having work done, but we always felt confident that Tony was reliable. We would not hesitate to recommend A C Joinery, before we engaged him he was described to us as very helpful. He certainly was.

I asked Tony to repair a staircase which had replacement spindles fitted as a poor and unsafe DIY job. Although, the job was not a large one, Tony arrived to price the job and advise us as to parts we needed. 4 weeks later, as promised, Tony did the work to a high standard. He also called us enroute to warn us that he would be few minutes late as he was caught in traffic caused by a serious accident. Well done, Tony!!
