Work is well underway for the job posted and looks to be completed on time on budget and to a very high standard. Further comment will be made at completion stage.

We are delighted with the work. Our house and barn have been transformed into comfortable, usable spaces to a high standard. We knew it would be a hard project, but I was struck by Andrew's calm manner and his desire to discuss the detail. The scope changed immediately we started - an inaccurate structural survey caused us to scrap the plan. Andrew rebid and we negotiated a good fixed price for the revised works. Andrew continued on site with ground work and advised on construction until revised plans had been certified. Construction went rapidly and he ensured that materials were delivered promptly ahead of the next phase. The guys worked early till late through all weathers to make the building watertight. They are fast and highly skilled in all aspects including woodwork, IKEA kitchen fitting, brickwork, plastering, tiling, electrical and painting. We brought in our own heating engineers as the pellet boiler plumbing work was quite specialized and not within the skill set of the team although they were reasonably competent at the internal plumbing for bathrooms and kitchen. They will accommodate change and try new things with the desire to get it right. We settled on a timber shingle roof for our barn and the guys learned how to use these new materials. It took a little longer than expected, but finished to a very high standard. Snagging completed efficiently and to our satisfaction, clearing the site down at the end. Overall would recommend.

I would first of all like to thank Andrew and his team for the hard work they have put in building us a fine extension. We have finally had our rear/side extension for the kitchen completed after 10 months of build. We are very happy with the end result and we manged to achieve the outcome of a bright airy extension and won't be missing the old nasty conservatory we had. From first meeting Andrew and throughout the build he was very professional and courteous. We had difficult moments but he remained very calm and level-headed and was able to explain well. Quite a few changes to the specs were made and Andrew carried out the job as requested. Any issues he was willing to listen and solved the problems without complaining. His team of workers are also very courteous and hard-working. As others have mentioned they tidied the workplace at the end of the day which impressed. Any niggles were sorted out to satisfaction. The only issue I saw was the fact that the build took a long time, partly because of order-made windows and patio doors but because he was dealing with multiple sites. There were periods of extended inactivities which contributed to the prolonged build. What I would also suggest is that if the build is quite complex then I would ensure someone can project manage effectively as we did not really have a project manager as such which may have smoothed over the whole process. I don't think anyone will be disappointed asking Andrew and his team to work on their project.

Andrew and his team Showed a full commitment from the start and worked hard in our property to complete our loft conversion and a family bathroom. All his team arrived on time everyday and most of the time Andrew would let us know who was coming up and what the plans were. Andrew was very helpful throughout the process. He was personable and approachable person, who was happy to discuss any queries that we had. Whenever they were any minor issues Andrew was happy to discuss on the phone or visit the site in person. Overall the work was finished to a high standard and Andrew made sure that we were happy with everything before taking the full payment. We would use Andrew again for any of our future projects and I have no hesitation to recommend ABC construction.

Thank you Andrew and team for all your hard work on our period flat refurbishment. Complete gutting of flat, slapping, floor relay, kitchen, bathroom, windows, wiring, plumbing.... basically a rebuild! Andrew was flexible and helpful throughout the building process and has returned to iron out any niggles post build. Love the flat now. Would definitely use ABC Construction again.

Andrew was a pleasure to do business with from the very beginning. My journey with him started before my plans for the extension were even finalized. I had previously looked at a slightly different extension that Andrew had looked at to initially quote on so this has been almost 2 years in the making!! Throughout this time Andrew kept in touch and was always there to lend a hand or advice as we navigated the planning stages. Then when we finally received our warrant Andrew drew up a very precise and in detail quote with a contract so we knew exactly what was going on at all times. Not only was his pricing fantastic but if we had any queries or questions then he would come out to us to go through them face to face to work through anything we wanted to add or take away so that we all understood clearly what that would entail. Over the course of the build we definitely grew a strong personal relationship with Andrew as he talked us through the stages of the build. I must admit I am a woman that likes to know every detail of what is going on and did quite a lot of research into what was happening and what we needed and Andrew could definitely manage me asking him about every little detail which was a feat in and of itself. The guys punctual and very clean and kept our property from looking as untidy as they could. All in all Andrew gave us fantastic service for an even better price. when we have further work done in the near future I won't even look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, My Builder does not give enough space to allow me to fully show my appreciation to Andrew and his team of workers. We were looking for a Kitchen extension and fitted kitchen, and Andrew came up with some plans, drawings and costs, all very competitive with other quotes we had been given. Andrew inspired confidence from the beginning , and was upfront with all the stages of the build, and what disruption(minimal) we were likely to experience. My wife and I were impressed by Andrew’s professional attitude and his open manner. Anyone who has had workers in, will be a little apprehensive, but Andrew has a superb team of men, who work long and tirelessly, they are polite, efficient and above all skilled at what they do. The guys turn up early and work throughout the day .Nothing is too much trouble and on a couple of occasions when I had asked if something could be redone a particular way, this was carried out with no fuss. Our kitchen is now fully completed, and we are more than delighted with the way it turned out, and we have had numerous comments on the outcome and the finishing detail that Andrew and his team have supplied . If you are looking for a builder and are unsure who to pick, I can say without hesitation that you will not be disappointed with Andrew and ABC construction. Andrew and his team are all hard working, where the work is all to a high standard. All his workers are polite and work in all weather, often doing 12 hours days. The finish is better than I have experienced from other tradesmen. I was also kept abreast if on the rare occasion that someone could not turn up. It was clear that he showed a passion for 'doing it right', which included improving on the original plans. I am happy to recommend him and his team. A. HOLMS

Andrew and his team have done an excellent job on my garage conversion ( roof getting done next year) the guys were ready to go at 7am and didn't finish until back of 4pm everyday. Any points I wasn't sure about Andrew was happy to discuss and change to my preferred option. The job was finished later than anticipated but I had no issue with this as the guys didn't stop when here. I had one main issue when the job was finished, when going to fit my laminate flooring I discovered that the floor in my existing dining room wasn't level at the new French doors. This meant although the new conversion floor was level I couldn't run the floor right through both rooms as planned. Andrew sent his guys up to assist with levelling the floor and start off laying my flooring to help get over the adjustments needed even though the conversion floor was level and to spec. He done this at no extra cost. The cost agreed at the start was what I paid and was very competitive compared with other quotes I got. I would highly recommend Andrew and his team and won't hesitate to use him again

ABC Construction has just completed our loft renovations, my wife and I couldn’t be happier with the standard of work by Andrew and his team. From first meeting Andrew I was sure we would have a good working relation, he is very approachable and understood what we were trying to achieve immediately. Once we agreed what was to be done, a start date set and Andrew’s team set to work. Andrew’s team arrived on time every day and always tidied up at the end of the working day, minimising disruption to our day to day routines. Any queries that we had were quickly dealt with, Andrew was very prompt at returning calls and answering messages, making sure that we were happy with everything all the time thru the process. We were always told in advance who would be coming to work at our house and when they would arrive, allowing my wife and I to get on with our day to day lives. At the end of the work, Andrew made sure we were happy with everything 100% before taking payment. I would happily recommend ABC Construction to anyone, we intend to use Andrew and his team in the future for our further projects.
