I found John on this site and hired him based in the feedback. I am glad I did and would hire John again if I need further electrical work. John is helpful, professional and really friendly. Initially, he popped round on a Sunday to quote (as I am out a lot during the week) and gave a competitive quote. He and Colin arrived early on the day he did the job (again for my convenience) and has done an excellent and very tidy job (clearing up and hoovering afterwards) - he even fitted a couple of new light fittings free of charge.

John came out promptly to price the job. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and quoted a good price. On the day, himself and Colin did a fantastic job. It was neat and tidy and well finished. They even put TV cables under the floor for me as an additional requirement at no extra cost. Very personable and highly recommended.

I found John through mybuilder to replace an old fuse box and relocate downlight. He was very professional, prompt, tidy and more than happy to discuss what work was being undertaken. I found him very friendly and open, and more than happy to go the extra mile to help. I would have no hesitation recommending John to family or friends.

We found John on Mybuilder and were impressed by the number of positive reviews. We were not disappointed upon meeting him. He was very thorough going through what we needed and explained everything in detail to us upon his investigation. His pricing was very fair and he started work a week later. John and Colin worked hard, explaining everything to us as they went along. They were both good company to have around and it felt more like having friends do the work rather than people who were in reality strangers. We would highly recommend both John and Colin - you couldn't find better in our opinion. We will continue to use them in the future.

Oh my goodness. I never knew I'd make a new friend when finding someone to fix my electrics. John is brilliant, so much so we even tried to hook him up with my mom, my sister and I want him as a step dad. His advice is sound, he is reasonably priced, says it like it is (if you dont like that dont hire him) but you know you are getting the truth. His work was great, he is great at clearing up after himself. If you dont have a kettle and tea bags you need to get some in, its almost as important as electricity. I hope I never need an electrician again, but I certainly wish I needed him every week. We looked forward to him coming to work, and enjoyed having him here when he was working, and if he'd let me, I'd call him a friend.

John was prompt, friendly and quickly sorted the problem. He also gave us some advice on some safety issues and cleared up after himself. Great service and great price. We have now found ourselves a great electrician if we need anything else done and would recommend John to anyone!

We are very pleased with the work that John and Colin have done for us, they have exceeded our expectations and are professional without exception. Thank you very much for replacing our fuse board and fitting the new LED spotlighting to the kitchen… not to mention all of the extra work you have done in addition. John and Colin are very tidy and make sure they leave everything as it was before, refitted carpets, completed plastering work… they are amazing and we will certainly call them and highly recommend them in the future.
