We had the good fortune to find John following a very bad experience with a previous contractor who left us in a worse and dangerous position following an issue we experienced starting with the fuse box continually tripping. After explaining the back story to John he proceeded to meticulously check the previous work carried out, corrected errors to make them safe and diligently worked through the entire electrics in the property ensuring all were working and safe. John's work to rectify and put right issues caused by previous work took most of the day and after being told by the previous contractor "we were overloading the system" and by NICEIC "our appliances were faulty hence they were causing the tripping" John managed to identify and resolve the issue. My view based on observing John going about resolving the issue was his technical expertise is unquestionable, and probably more so, his explanation in layman's terms of what he had identified and what he needed to do to fix was most reassuring. John also followed up his initial visit with calls to ensure everything was OK, something I have not seen before and was very much appreciated.
If you are looking for an electrician with experience, expertise and integrity, and whose rates are more than reasonable, I cannot recommend John highly enough.
He has restored my faith in ordinary tradespersons and I thank him for that.
