Right on time, friendly, but no invoice. The trader arrived right on time and was very friendly. I had posted a job to install an internal stop tap, but I was not sure if the property already had one. I explained this clearly, and he agreed to come, check, and then quote me. We settled on a price for the installation. On the day, he inspected the property, confirmed that there was already a stop tap, and charged me 80% of the agreed installation price. While the charge felt quite high for simply confirming the stop tap’s existence, I understand that every trader sets their own prices, so I cannot complain about that aspect. The real issue is that, despite contacting him repeatedly through the app for over four weeks, I never received an invoice. This lack of response and failure to provide proper documentation has been very disappointing

He looked at pictures and gave a quote. Fixed the date to fix two bath tub panels. Under two days before the work to start. Pulled out to say he can't do the job. Wasted my time! Really nice guy, quoted a reasonable price, turned up, said he needed something from Wickes, down the road and would be back soon. He then texted to say his wife had gone into labour, but it may be a false alarm and would let me know. I haven’t heard from him since. Very inconvenient because I had plumbers and a carpet fitter lined up to synchronise with the completed plastering and now everything is on hold. Disappointed doesn’t even come close. Shame. It was clear you didn’t want the job when you turned up and I wish you had just said that.
