Julian took out our old kitchen and flooring and also the flooring down a corridor from the kitchen. He moved a radiator and replaced all the flooring. He used a local cabinet maker to hand build new units and replaced the whole kitchen including new electrical appliances. The design was his own. The workmanship cannot be faulted. Julian was true to his estimates and was totally reliable. The work took longer than originally indicated but we did ask him to do extra jobs and the results are superb.

David designed and built my orangery which was an addition to the back of my home. David informed me of all the progress every step of the way and was always punctual. I arrived home everyday from work to more of my extension having been built but no sign of a messy building site, he always cleaned my garden and windows after his days work. The final product I can only describe as simply stunning, every detail was finished to an exceptional standard and there isn't anything I can fault in Davids workmanship and professionalism throughout the whole build. If you are looking for a 5* builder then look no further. I cannot recommend David enough.

Poor communication. He gave me a date first then cancelled it due to he’s son got ill which is understandable and I told him no worries will do it in your flexible time. Then he gave me another date and I agreed then day after I asked him what time will you come no reply then day before I messaged him no reply and he didn’t arrive on his chosen day. I waited whole day for him then called him no answer. The worst communication I have ever come across and I would recommend you to find a good responsive person avoid someone like him. Who doesn’t have value for other people’s time. Very unprofessional.

Nigel responded to our post and came over the next day to give us a quote. Upon looking at the job he gave us a very reasonable quote and he also helped us to purchase all the materials at a cracking price. He started the job on time and finished on time as well. We weren't home most of the days and left the back door open for him, he turned up, cracked on and tidied up after himself. In terms of the quality of his work, both my wife and I were very pleased, we wanted the decking area to be done to a high standard as our 19 month old will be playing on it and the finish was excellent. Nigel is very skilled and professional and we will certainly be asking him to do more work for us. We highly recommend him to the MyBuilder community!
