I’m Reuben, the hands and heart behind Gwithyas. I started this business because I believe older Cornish buildings deserve to be cared for properly — with patience, respect, and the right materials. I’ve always been drawn to the character of old cottages and the stories held in their stone, and that’s shaped the way I work today. Gwithyas is just me, turning up every day and taking real pride in doing things the right way. I specialise in traditional lime work because it keeps historic buildings healthy, breathable, and true to their original character. There’s no rushing or cutting corners — just careful, honest craftsmanship. My customers value that I’m reliable, easy to talk to, and clear about what their home needs. I treat every property as if it were my own and make sure the work I do will last for decades. If you want someone who genuinely cares about your home and its heritage, I’d love to help.

Hi, My name is Shaun and last year I set up my handyman business on the back of a decorating job which led me to build escape rooms in Cornwall and since then I've grown my business to include tiling, fencing and general household repairs. I mostly do interior decorating but I have painted and cleaned exteriors ready for properties to be put on the market. My first big project included plastering and some carpentry with framing and hanging doors throughout the property. I'm still in my first year of business and very busy with recommendations and the continued contract with my first customer building and maintaining escape rooms. I probably price myself too low for the work I do but I still try to offer quality work and will only tackle something I'm confident to do. I have a good network of people around me to either help or take on the work I can't do or have the time for. Otherwise it's just me and so far business is going well!
