Great question, consumers are inundated with emails and offers whether they are about cost savings measures or sales, etc. It all becomes a blur and more challenging. If you’re introducing yourself to a potential client in person, do a little research on who they are and what they do. When you introduce yourself tell them how you were intrigued or interested in how they executed XYZ. When they finish telling you about the process , then advise what you do and how it is related and how you can help. Make the connection and show how what you know and can offer will in fact benefit them. Try not to make it like a sales pitch. Be casual about it

Our company is a private limited company, we have over 5 years of experiance in all building works. We do all building works from loft convertion to plastering, kitchens and bedrooms, renovations and electrial etc. We have done many jobs from big to small, we have brilliant customer job reviews for all jobs done and have never let any customers down. Before starting any jobs we always sign a contract and make everything clear with the customer about the work that needs to be done and what we will provide and what the customer will have to provide. We are willing to travel 30/40 miles to work from our destination.
