So in the end the job description changed but billy did a great job sorting out the door frame and fixing some floor boards. Currently awaiting his quote for the airing cupboard but billy is polite and helpful and we would be happy to hire again in the future if required.

First we hired a local builder to paint our new home and flat but things worked out with him so we hired Mushtaq from My builder. Mush came and saw our both the property and quote us £1800 for home and £1000 for flat paint. We agreed! We also agreed that first we need to pay 30%, then 20%,20% and rest 30%. We also agreed that for £150 he will do small work like lock refitting,washing machine fit,no parking sign,bulb etc. Mush and his team started job in a very nice manner. We're really impressed for first 2-3 days. They did nice job at our hall-kitchen. But on 4th day, suddenly Mush told us that he is not going to paint bathroom kitchen! We thought he is joking but he was amandment and told us that bathroom was not part of our job! I told him that when we said full home paint means full home paint, no exclusion! but he didn't agreed. We says fine! On the same/last day, he said he is not going to clean anything ( remove protection etc ) as it's not his job! We're dumbfounded! Then he told us that if we pay £170 extra he will get someone who can remove protection and do full cleaning. We declined. On last day, i paid much last £600 ( material plus last 30% of £1800 ) and told him that we will contact him later. Then I hired cleaner to clean our home thoroguhly including his hoover and ladders. We wasted £2000+ on him and the end we're deeply disappointed. To all the people who want morally good and ethical builder - i would advice to stay away from Mush. Simple.

I wasn't impressed. I had to fix the sink after far too much plumber putty was put in meaning water wouldn't drain but puddle in the sink. Then the sink was leaking from the waste pipe as it hadn't been tightened at all and again a stupid amount of putty everywhere. The tap is loose and not tightened. One door has holes drilled into it which don't line up with the handle, which he didn't tell me he had done or asked if i wanted (which i had decided i didn't want the handles on) Then the toilet that he fitted for me too was put on top of the flooring instead of the tile being cut, which i think he was going to do as i have drawings on the floor. Again the seat wasn't put on properly either so when my daughter went to use it first she fell off. It too was leaking and when i messaged about it and sent the requested photo and video i didn't get a response, he saw them and ignored me. Took my partner chasing him to get him to come fix it. This has caused ceiling damage in my kitchen below where it has leaked between the floor boards and caused bubbling in the ceiling paint. So i'm left with more work that i now have to sort out. Sorry, it pains me to be so negative, your a lovely guy but i can't recommend you or leave positive feedback. I'm lucky to have family who can rectify the damage but other people who you do work for may not be as lucky.
