What can I say about Paul except a true gent. Had an emergency Kitchen to build for my sons 2nd Birthday. With one days notice Paul arrived at our door on a Friday evening, big smile, polite , amazing quote and built the giant kitchen for our boy. Shaun Fixed our leaking high gutters and painted a stained kitchen ceiling. His work was very good, he did a clean and tidy job. His final invoice was exactly what he quoted despite having to spemd extra time on the kitchen ceiling. We would use Shaun again.

We have been using Rupert's services over the last 5 years. Having had lots of experience with numerous builders before him, I must say that he is absolutely exceptional, and the only one within the trade who I would recommend to other people, and have done so on numerous occasions. I understand he specializes in tiling and decorating, however, over the last 5 years, there hasn't been a job (carpentering, wallpapering, plumbing, plastering, fixing a new kitchen work top, electrical work, and lots of odd jobs such as restoring marble, changing doors and locks, etc) that he hasn't completed to the highest standard. On top of that, he is not just a highly professional tiler, decorator and handyman, but also someone with designing and artistic skills. He has played a key role in helping to design our redecoration, which involved knowledge of maths, geometry and physics. He has brilliant client care skills. Over the course of 5 years, we haven't seen anything from him but punctuality, respect, desire and genuine care about the quality of his work, and client satisfaction.

We had a new kitchen put in, new flooring, and also a number of DIY tasks such as curtain hanging around our house that Shaun from Alaska was brought on to complete. Absolutely all aspects of the work were exemplary - from the communication, to punctuality, politeness and respect, and the work itself. Everything was excellent. Shaun was quick to respond to messages, he was accommodating to our schedule, and managed the job perfectly. Where we needed to bring in specialists for things like gas, Shaun was able to lead and guide in those areas including helping us to locate the right quotes. The work itself was second to none, the quality of the finish and attention to detail is commented upon by everyone who visits our house. Shaun did not take any shortcuts in completing the work, and ensured that high quality ran through everything even as elementary as the parts that were used (as finely considered as selecting quality screws and nails!). As a result, our kitchen and floors look impeccable and feel premium. I have no hesitation in recommending Alaska, and have done so to close friends. Further, I intend to use Alaska again for my forthcoming bathroom renovations.
