Two attempts to build a wall. Second one is acceptable. Inside block wall is off plumb by an inch. No insulation installed as I guess it wouldn't fit due to the walls leaning to close. Paid for the internal and external wall and to have a strip on concrete replaced along the front of the house. The concrete was not complete and after contact several times no response. No invoice or info on a warranty that was told about. Requested a refund on the work not complete and have been ignored. £350 for the concrete and now I will have to pay someone else to do it. Damage done to driveway and took 5 hours+ to clean the mess and mortar from my 6 months old drive. I would not use these again and would avoid.

Sonny built a new chimney surround, lay a hearth and bricked up a window & door in our newly converted lounge. We were very pleased with the work that Sonny completed for us. The quality of all the work was to a high standard, and he always left the workplace tidy at the end of a day's work. In addition, he was reliable, helpful and friendly. Finally he was reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Too bad! He look the contract for garden and driveway and got a lot of work from our references in our neighbourhood. But his work has started wearing of after 3 months now. He had done the roof installation for our shed but when it rained water flooded in and inspide of repeated calls and false promises he never turned back and ran away. His carpenter was rubbish and according to Larry he had been doing his job for 30 years but his work is rubbish he spoiled our windows big time. A fortune wasted when the work goes in wrong hands. I wish I could have uploaded the pictures, I have all the evidence for that. His dads temperament is so stressful and the way he comes and shouting at you when he himself has done wrong, it's a nightmare. Ours was a big job and costed about 21k just to get the outside sorted. I would still say that Larry is a hard working guy and polite too but he should noy take up the work which he doesn't specialises. It was a lot of money and he left all in a mess and ran away. We had so much stress getting the work sorted by another builder and paid for the same work twice.

I had arranged with Omar that he would come after my holiday to lay a base for a bike shed. I texted him twice after I got back to say that I was ready to go. I received no reply. Today, I phoned him. The poor man has had severe health problems recently and is unable to do my job. I understand his situation, but, when you are running a business, you need to keep your customers informed of developments. I have got to find somebody else now.

Lewis came out 3 times as part of my lead pipe replacement job and he came on the days and times agreed. Both lads polite and professional. No noise and went about their job. Left a clean place just as it was before. Paid the price quoted and it was one of the better quotes. Job done

I hired ronac to put a large deck area in at my mums house and also a new flagged area under my mums garden shed I wasn’t happy with either job the flagged area under the shed was finished very poorly he didnt line up the flags put in cuts to make it easier for himself but took the full money not a professional job The deck is not finished as he has not put on the finished tops to newel posts after many txt msgs asking him to do this and a few phone calls he promised he would he has stil not done this this deck was done in April during the lockdown He took the money and did not finish job I would not hire this person again

The dormer loft conversion went smoothly and to plan. Shane worked with the design company and building control to ensure everything was to code. He used his own subcontractors for electrical work, plastering, and decorating so everything was well coordinated and there were no significant delays. The final result is excellent.

A good job was done. It was not a standard job but a modification to enable the drainage of rain water. He worked very hard and was a nice guy. Despite his health problem I can’t fault his effort and the result was good.

First of all this company although on here is called Apex Paving they also trade as Total Paving and surfacing, we very recently got our driveway and back garden done also 2 new resin steps, everything seemed fine this was the last part of the job steps just needed to be finished off after resin dried and we in good faith paid John Townsley, later that night we discovered the resin on the steps started to bubble and rise I immediately contacted John he asked me to send pictures of the steps which I did, didn’t hear anything from him, managed to speak with him the following week to which he said that he would get the steps sorted, and so 3 weeks on he’s obviously blocked my number and had no intention to fix them, to say the least we are so disgusted and disappointed with him thought he was better than that, this will be taken further. My rating is one star as I don’t get the option to put a zero.
