I have had a new kitchen put in place of an old one. The works took a week to complete, around 3 days to take out the old units, and the remainder for the new once to go in, and then some finishing works. There has not been any major disturbance in the property during that period and the works were completed according to the initial estimates both time-wise and money-wise. I am absolutely delighted with the work Luke and his brother have done. I found them through this site and have been really impressed by them from the original quote to finishing the work. This was a trick job rebuilding a section of garden wall, matching brickwork to the original wall. They listened to what we wanted, gave some great advise and kept us updated when weather conditions meant a short delay. They took great care with the garden area surrounding the wall and left everything tidy. Quality workmanship from genuinely nice people. They will be my first point of contact for any building needs in future.

I engaged HJ Developments in September 2022 and as we have never had any major building work done before we were nervous about engaging and committing to spending a significant amount of money with people we didn't know. I went through MyBuilder.com and had 3 quotes HJ were not the cheapest but I really liked the way Harry communicated with us and nothing seemed a problem for him, and we asked him to return a couple of times to discuss various aspects and we also went to see a previous extension he had done and spoke with the owners about how they felt the job had gone so we eventually engaged him for the work. The team always arrived on time, were very tidy in their work and came in on budget, and have done an amazing job. Like with all big jobs, there were changes throughout (instigated usually by me) but there was never a problem, only a solution with costs discussed along the way so we knew where we were with the budget and could make a decision to accept the changes or not and we couldn't be happier with the end result. If you want a reliable, skilled team who will help and advise and be a joy to be around while they are working in your home, then you won't go wrong with Harry, Henry, and the team.

very poor , did not complete the pointing to high standard whatsover missed a few rows of bricks and when i told him on several occassions he refused to do it. he is extremley messy and does not clean up after himself whatsover. He also did some flagging for us around the same time as the pointing the flags he laid are not level at all and very hollow it has caused to trip up several times He also walked all over my plants and killed them . He also put cement down the drains and blocked them up. He also put waste in my plant pots. He has no repect for people's properties. When i asked him politely if he would put the job right he refused. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE MARK COMLEY HE WILL MAKE A MESS OF YOUR'E HOUSE LIKE HE HAS MINE.
