Marsel kindly agreed to do a very small job for me of installing two parking bollards. He came on a Sunday with a friend and worked quickly, checking with me that he was putting the bollards exactly where I needed them. He even brought his own power washer to clean up even though it was an outdoor job. Very pleasant, efficient workers.

Overall, we are very pleased with how the garden renovation turned out, but it was a slightly turbulent ride to get there at times. R&E worked hard to get the job done in the timeframe, but we felt that speed sometimes came at a cost, with some corners being cut to achieve that - things that could have easily been brought up and discussed at an earlier stage were left grey, and then additional work was required to rectify (this work to rectify was done, without complaint, which was much appreciated). We also ran into a few issues with various suppliers, not necessarily R&Es fault but some aspects could certainly have been managed better, as it sometimes fell on us to push suppliers to sort out the problems. But overall, we were happy with outcome and are now really enjoying using the space, thank you Roland and team.

Greg did an excellent job of repairing the existing drains in my back garden, which were partly blocked. Once altered he built a new inspection chamber and installed additional pipework for a new gulley outlet under the garden tap. He also altered the existing guttering and downpipes and laid a patio area by the back door. Greg did a first class job, with superb workmanship. He has a great work ethic and is reliable and hardworking. He is easy to communicate with and clearly very experienced. He interpreted my complex requirements easily first time (without drawings) and I ended up with exactly what I asked for, plus more. I would highly recommend Greg for similar work and will definitely use him again in the future.

Excavate garden, re-turf, landscape, decking and lighting. *****5 STARS***** After receiving various quotes from other builders, I came across A.V.Construction. I was not sure in the beginning as there were only a few reviews, but after speaking with Alek who offered a very competitive quote I decided to hire them. From the get go they were hard at work, working very fast and efficiently. Over the time they spent working on my garden, I built a good rapport with the team. They are friendly, honest and provide great customer satisfaction. I asked for the team to build a BBQ hut from a design and it was absolutely perfect. My garden has been totally transformed and everyone that visits comments on how good the work is. Naturally I will be hiring them again for another job to pave my alleyway. They can do anything! Highly recommended and 100% confidence.

Absolutely brilliant experience with Fitim and colleague from start to finish. We needed 3 doors including frames installed asap as have a baby due any day. Fitim quickly noticed I had ordered the wrong door sizes (not picked up by other quoters) and helped me source the correct size, even before job was agreed. He remained flexible throughout the work, attending on multiple days when materials arrived in drips and drabs, also managing to install a 4th door with one of the extras we had upon request. Clearly very skilled at his work; our previous builders had left openings that were not straight and he was able to cut and patch seamlessly and the result looks great. We then added extra requests- hanging two more doors, replacing 2 broken spindles on staircase and adding all the hardware to new our kitchen- again completed quickly and skilfully. Both Fitim and his colleague were v polite and courteous, taking time to clean any mess created throughout the day. Highly recommend.

Chris did a decent job with the paint repairs. Was punctual and provided excellent updates re how the work progressed. The outdoor timber work has not stood the test of time that well one year on but the interior work is fine. Reasonable on price and does a good job.

I would highly recommend these guys. They did a very high quality job decorating my lounge, dining room, hallway and stairs. They started the job on time, worked through the weekend to get the job finished in good time, left the place clean and tidy at the end of every day, and cleaned up immaculately at the end of the job. The price was also very competitive compared with other quotes I received. I hope they are available again in a few months time when I have more decorating that needs to be done.
