Good work. Arrived early in the morning to screed 20sqm over an insulation layer and UFH already in place. Job done in half day, great results. Floor perfectly levelled and top level exactly as per project.

I found Zan through MyBuilder and was very impressed with his professionalism and attitude from start to finish. He was motivated, clear in his communication, and provided a fair price compared to other quotes I received. Zan and his team carried out work in my back garden, where they levelled the ground to match the house floor level. The job involved removing a significant amount of soil and ensuring proper base preparation, including full waste removal. Everything was done efficiently and to a high standard. It was clear from the outset that Zan is an experienced builder who knows exactly what he is doing. He worked methodically, kept everything tidy, and delivered exactly what was agreed. Overall, I’m very happy with the work and would confidently recommend Zan and his team to friends and family looking for reliable and fairly priced garden or groundwork services.

SureLay were probably the most professional business I engaged with when renovating my property. Alex came to the property and provided a comprehensive and knowledgable quote, and explained in detail what would happen and when they could start work. I was shown samples, and at no point was I rushed into making a decision. The team arrived promptly every morning and worked efficiently, whilst also being exceptionally tidy and courteous. Not only do I now have a fabulous driveway, but the attention to detail on the small elements of the work is second to none. At the outset, Harry and his partner are good people. However, the job was not completed to a professional standard. Grout has started coming off from between the tiles leaving gaps that water can pass through, the door hinge was not properly fitted leaving a door that will not close, the radiator pipe clips were not fitted, tile trims are not flush with rest of the wall, shelves were fitted on top of old broken wood. And the worst part is that Harry did not turn up even after confirming a date to come back and fix the missing parts. I paid him extra for all the additional jobs, even though certain items from the contract were not done ( for e.g. replacing the bathtub panel ). They have multiple jobs ongoing at the same time and struggles to stick to schedule. If you get them I would advise not paying everything upfront and making sure contract is signed only after it is made sure that they would stick to schedule. I struggled to get them to commit to a date and stick to it.
