Prices not the most accountable or transparent. 1 hours work £723.60 to clear simple drain. It was done well, but I was expecting around £250-400 tops for this so was a bit shocked with the final cost. When I questioned the cost resultant conversation became loud and affected running of my business to the point we had to give discounts in apology to current customers. Note; prices quoted are by half hour, include VAT and do not include additional including waste removal or surveys. 2 people arrive so double any quote given from the outset. Easy to feel overcharged, especially when surveys come back negative, cost £00s and are done in minutes- or quoted cost "includes all manual means of clearance" but then have to pay extra for clearance of waste.

Ionut is one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever met. He leads a great team on site, and with Gina managing the client side and design aspects, they deliver outstanding value from start to finish. Ionut is a highly skilled multi-trader with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for his craft. His capability spans carpentry and joinery, herringbone flooring, plumbing, electrics and more. The team also excel in finishes, plastering and decorating, which made a huge difference to the final result. We are absolutely delighted with the service and the transformative work carried out in our home. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again, availability permitting, as I’m sure they’ll be very busy. Tony responded quickly to my job. Attended within a day to assess and produce a quote. Quote was competitive and once agreed started job on scheduled day and completed in a very efficient manner and even did a bit more than was required. I can not recommend him highly enough.

My extention was left incomplete by a incompetent builder, I had plenty builders coming around for quotes until I decided to go with Peter & Chris after receiving their detailed quote with everything explained in blank and white. I am extremely happy with my choice, as they did a great job finishing the project on time and most importantly great finishes. Peter has an amazing interior design taste, I would definitely recommend picking his brains, Chris on the other hand is very experienced and knowledgeable in building, both work very well together as well as his labourers are very respectful and hardworking. I recommend Peter & Chris to anyone who wants a stress free project. An above and beyond service !

We engaged NB Building Services to build an extension (new garage and room at the rear) and extensively refurbish/remodel a bungalow. I met a number of builders/building contractors but I felt immediately comfortable with Nick right from the start. It was the first time we were ever starting such a project and we wanted to follow our instinct and go with someone we could be comfortable with over the duration of the project. Right from the start Nick came across as someone who is genuine and who looks to understand your requirements. Also, as my project had a few uncertainties that could affect the scope of the project I was looking for some flexibility and I felt that Nick and his team could provide that. Nick and his team (Stefan, Boris and Ilco) work very well together as a cohesive team. Nick provided a day-to-day customer contact while scheduling tasks on the building site and coordinating material deliveries. Every member of the team worked a full day and on occasions where it was important to finish something on the day, they would stay late to finish the job. What impressed me most when the work started is that the entire team is multiskilled – they do everything from bricklaying, timberwork, roofing, plaster/skimming etc. This helped me immensely when there were minor changes or modifications. That meant we didn’t have to wait for the bricklayer or plasterer to return to the site again. Nick also operated the heavy machinery like digger/breaker etc. Once the initial structure was complete the team again impressed me with their attention to detail when they moved inside to lay down plumbing, electrical wires, gas pipes etc. Nick and Stefan took the lead on the fine finishing tasks inside while Boris and Ilco provided important support and completed a lot of other tasks inside and out. It was during this critical phase when communication is most important that I appreciated Nick’s effort to keep us informed. As far as quality of work is concerned while we were happy with everything, I think the tiling work of both Nick and Stefan is outstanding. Our project lasted for about 8 months and while there were lots of discussions on areas of the project that I did not understand and I asked a lot of questions and also changed my mind on some things I don’t remember I we ever even had a minor argument. This I felt was an important win. Nick was also generous with his time and provided help to other trades who came on site e.g. window fitters, garage door installers; boiler installers; electricians etc. Nick and his team returned a few months later to lay down a patio with porcelain tiles for us and also a driveway with block paving. Once again Nick and his team discussed with us in detail what we wanted and provided suggestions based on their experience.

Heera, Jagthar and team was my first personal experience with builders. Let me tell you, it was a pleasure to have them do our porch and other renovations in the house. They are so courteous, hard working and provided a great service. Firstly, I had a comprehensively written quote breaking down all of the steps required. Heera then ensured to keep me in the loop of any developments/any changes of plan required, outlining the reasons why and options, making it easy to understand and work together to completion.
