We contracted JMD for a detached house project to demolish an old 1970s extension & rebuild larger 70sqm extension, an outside terrace patio and remodel some of our internal ground floor setup. Project started in Feb2025 and JMD made super quick progress on the build during the dry spring months. We had to pause JMD due to our timelines which they were fine with and finally completed end-to-end by Oct2025. What makes JMD standout for us was their team of employees – they don’t use too many contractors, most of their team are employed by JMD and are a loyal hardworking professional squad. Liam, Mark, Chip, Ross, Zac and the rest – all top class! We had some additional projects and requirements mid-project, JMD provided good pricing along the way which were all totally fair and priced as incremental add-ons. YES – there are always bits that could be better, but JMD did an excellent job on the whole. Site left clean, tidy, complete and all post project snags dealt with! THANKS JMD!

Very pleased with the work that Daniel’s Contractors continue to do for our home. We have now hired them to fix the leak in the roof, fix doors throughout our home and we recently had an extension / kitchen done. We are so happy we went with them. We cannot recommend them enough and will continue to use them whenever we need building work. Russ is easy to work with and takes a huge amount of pride in his work. All the builders were respectful of our home, were extremely hard working and worked quickly. The extension and kitchen is of a high standard and even better than we imagined. We couldn’t be happier.

Dean came the following day that the job was placed to see the site and estimate - the quote came soon after. Work was done on time and kept mess to a minimum. I would use Mayfair Build again.

Juro and his team completed a total refurbishment of our house that included removing all internal walls, along with a double story side extension, a huge job involving lots of steels, re-roofing, new construction, new bathrooms and kitchen, new windows and rendering along with all the plumbing and electrical work and decoration. They did the most incredible job, working efficiently, adapting to any problems that came along and working really hard to create the best finish possible at the budget we had. Despite the pandemic arriving just after the demolition stage, they didn’t miss a day on site, and worked tirelessly to get materials to keep the project moving. Incredibly they still managed to finish the project on schedule and to a standard that was exceptional. Juro is honest and upfront, didn’t ever add costs or ‘unforeseeables’ and was an absolute joy to work with. He also stuck to a very clear payment schedule that was easy to follow and always meant we only paid when we were absolutely 100% happy. My only reservation in writing this review is that I would like to selfishly hang on to him and keep his schedule clear for future jobs with family and friends!

My extention was left incomplete by a incompetent builder, I had plenty builders coming around for quotes until I decided to go with Peter & Chris after receiving their detailed quote with everything explained in blank and white. I am extremely happy with my choice, as they did a great job finishing the project on time and most importantly great finishes. Peter has an amazing interior design taste, I would definitely recommend picking his brains, Chris on the other hand is very experienced and knowledgeable in building, both work very well together as well as his labourers are very respectful and hardworking. I recommend Peter & Chris to anyone who wants a stress free project. An above and beyond service !

I was extremely pleased with the work Edward did for my large summer house project. He laid a perfect concrete slab 8m x 4m which i have since built the summerhouse on. I found Edward super positive, so easy to communicate and work with, allowed me to do bits I could do and left to him the complicated areas. So I dug out the old soil and old foundations and removed my old shed. Edward came in and did the skilled concrete filling, levelling etc. Edward also popped over when I asked him just to check levels and depth. Nothing was an issue. At the end Edward also let my use his wacker plate for a few weeks and collected it later. Brilliant guy, very helpful, excellent price and so positive. Nothing seemed a problem. Have recommended Edward already to others.

I was left in a bit of mess by another builder and I had a very tight timescale to meet, I explained the situation to Rob and he came and took a look the same evening. Rob provided a competitive quote and he squeezed my job in so I met my deadline. Him and his team did a fantastic job, they were extremely efficient, professional, nice guys that you feel comfortable with them on your property that did respect COVID-19 measures.
