We are Apex paving ltd, Daniel and myself (Josh) started our business 5 years ago with just the two of us. We have 30 years of experience and knowledge combined and have grown our business to currently employ 27 people on domestic and commercial sites and are still growing year on year. We sub-contract to 4 large commercial groundworks and street works firms across Hampshire and surrounding areas. We complete all manner of groundworks on new build housing sites and domestic homes. From drainage and roads to patios, kerbs, block paving and tarmac. We began our business on domestic jobs installing new block paving driveways including drop kerbs, new gardens and patios, artificial and real turf. We also have a dedicated tarmac team and digging teams (fibre and services) on the road network completing jobs for SSE and other contractors. We are based in Portsmouth but travel up to 1.5hrs from home in any direction sometimes further. We have full public and corporate liability insurance and all relevant tickets for plant and streetworks. I have been hands on since early in life and applied this throughout my working life. During this time i have developed many skills and competencies. Over the past 8 years i have trained and worked in groundworks and am now looking at starting out for my self. i have a full spectrum of skills in groundworks from footing to patios. Over the past 3 years i have also completed a house renovation while also working full time including garden landscaping, garden room building, plaster boarding and all other aspects of renovation. Accompanied with a very competent excavator driver with similar skill set on top of this where needed we are a great team to take on most tasks.

Hi my names Jordan, I’ve have 18 years in construction mainly in the civil’s area, but over the years I have worked across several different trades to keep my self and my business busy and relevant, anything from building flat pack furniture to putting up shelves to installing concrete foundations which include foundations for houses, retaining walls and any other foundations you may require, we also offer re-bar and formwork for these foundations which may include anything from reinforced retaining walls, base’s, basements and swimming pools.
