Please if you are using this company make sure before booking that they are qualified to deal with your type/model of boiler. Today my boiler was failed and near condemned due the no knowledge approach of the working system/warm air by the engineer who carried on regardless unbeknown to me until the end of the visit when he mentioned it and by merely doing some research while at the visit to made this decision. This research i had noted as wrong as ventilation is sufficient and i don’t need a door removal as there is a large vent in situ that was fitted by professionals alongside the fitting of the boiler. I should have been suspicious when i had to light the boiler myself as I could hear him repeatedly hitting on the ignition. Maybe part of the test I thought but NO. It only takes one click and the boiler lights as it did for me who has knowledge on how to light it. After taking advice from a professional that deals with my boiler type (warm air) on how to resolve this safety warning issue that does not now give me a safety certificate it was made clear that if no knowledge on a boiler is the case by a professional it should not have been touched/tampered with and the visit cancelled and the engineer leave rather than carry on and bill me £108!!

This guy is a joke. He comes to start the job but damages the existing gas pipe that will need replacing but 1 week later after calling him leaving him text messages, he has not returned my calls nor messaged me back. Called him from a different number, he answered but then realised it was me and said he will call me back in 6 mins but never did. Do not use this unreliable unprofessional waste of time.

Hi Ashley Mc Carthey is a very nice person and great to deal with and charged a fair Price for the quote which i was very happy with, I removed the bath straightened the wall so it was a blank canvas, Two Young men came to fit the shower, They were very polite & nice and done a nice job job of fitting it all but the shower riser rail is a bit high for smaller people, But i failed to mention this before they fitted it, But on closer inspection the next day, The attention to detail Lacked quite a bit some of the paneles where not cut right to size or fitted right but silicone covers it, But then again the applying of silicone left a lot to the imagination i had to scrape it off and do it again properly, It is the detail that makes a job perfect.

The radiators do not work , I asked him to refund or pay some money back .He refused outright! The boiler is leaking bucket full of water .He started by cutting pipes & removing the filter & putting a loop on it . He then told me to fill up the pressure up to 1 , I did this . By the next morning it leaks out all the water. He said it’s the value inside boiler & these stupid old boilers , you can’t get to the value . He wanted another £400 to repair it & then said £800 for a new one . He never told me to get a new boiler at the start , he told me after he had damaged it. He’s a cowboy ! he said he had nightmares , as he knew it was an issue now that the boiler was broken by him. He came back & put a stop end on the end of the overheating pipe as this didn’t stop the leak. I asked for a refund as has broken my boiler as it was working before he came . There was no leaks anywhere . It went from £60 to £180 .I paid him . He’s not a reasonable person , he told me to get another plumber . I feel he has scammed me of a lot of money & caused me a lot of stress & upset 😢 All he needs to do is refund my money as the central heating dosnt work & I have no heat & now I have a broken boiler . It’s not right, I was kind to him & gave him homemade apple pie & tea & we got on really well & I offered him more work. It’s wrong & he knows it, he’s ripped me off! He’s scammed me of £180 pounds . A good tradesman would refund me my money. I got no heat & a broken boiler .
