Chosen Gas engineer/company did not turn up at the time agreed (am) - They rang up (after lunch) to say they thought the appointment was for 3:30 pm. They confirmed their mistake when they reviewed our text message exchange and ask to visit at 3:30 - I said no as I had taken the morning off of work to accommodate our agreement and had to go to work. It would have cost me more money to take more time off of work… so I arrange for different company to carry out the service at a convenient time.

I contacted GmDouglas initially to remove an old cooker and install a new a new one. I checked that they were on the gas safe register which is what I was looking for. They gave me an initial booking date, the engineer turned up on time and carried out the work in a clean and timely manner. I phoned their head office and paid via card which I found convenient, I was also impressed with the follow up call I received to ensure all was well. I will use GmDouglas in the future and will ask them to carry out Landlord gas safety certificates in my rental houses.

He did some plastering behind the old radiator at no extra cost to his quote. His IT support and documentation is very good. He is in great demand so it is sometimes difficult to pin him down.
