It was a pleasure to have Szilard working on our project and we are fantastically pleased with the end result. At all stages of the work Szilard consulted us as to our requirements and preferences and, where problems arose, he never failed to come up with innnovative solutions. Szilard and his team worled tirelessly and obviously took a great deal of pride in their work. They were always cheerful, depsite the searing heat, and took great care of our property clearing up each evening. Szilard kept us informed of progress and always let us know what to expect the next day. Charles and his team installed an artificial lawn in my back garden. It was quite a physical job as they had to remove substantial amount of earth to be able to level the ground. They done an amazing job, taking extra care to ensure we get to enjoy the lawn for many years to come. Charles and his team were extremely professional and would highly recommend to anyone.

Where do I begin? So Alex and his team has pretty much renovated two flats including external work such as roofing. The work involved was quite challenging as the building has a lot of damp / mould / leaking issues. Alex’s attitude towards resolving every matter was exemplary. He would take his time to explain his strategy to tackle each and every problem in a very metholodical way. I have never seen anything like it. I am so pleased with Alex’s work and so are my tenants who live in the flats. I would highly recommend Alex, especially for tougher jobs!

Exceptional service from an exceptional, diligent and very hard working couple of guys (John & Jamie). Whilst we received quotes from other companies to rip out the vast chunks of concrete in our front and back garden and replace it with grass/footpath/patio, what really impressed us about JDW apart from them being so friendly and cheerful, was that they were the only company that actually got tools out and surveyed the work to be done. As a result they discovered that we had 10 inches+ of concrete in our garden that needed to be dug out (not 4 or so inches which other companies seemed to assume would be there). Added to that they’d contacted their Skip Supplier in advance of coming to see us so they could tell us exactly how much our local council would charge for skips to be kept on the road. As a result we found their quote to be far more accurate. We’re pleased to say that the great service continued after we appointed them to do the works. They always turned up on time, always had a smile on their faces, never slacked, and never once went missing in action - for us this spoke volumes about them as the job they did for us was a very very hard one for just 2 people. They were also very easy to bounce ideas off and always incredibly helpful. Would we use them again? Well we already are because we’ve found them to be such a reliable, trustworthy and hardworking pair of guys with an impressive work ethic…. and to be honest, we’ve appreciated their company!
